The Doorway: a panfandom game

Wow. I thought this was going to be a waste of time or, at the very least, not worth chancing the hordes of people but that was just kind of spectacular. We don't have anything quite like this Times Square thing at home and I've never really celebrated the New Year as a holiday before. This city goes all out, doesn't it? New York is kind of beautiful at night. And the celebration was even more spectacular from the rooftops. It was kind of breathtaking, honestly. And the sheer energy pulsing from the crowds was just ...wow. I feel like I could run across rooftops all night now. Good job, New York, you've made me like you just a bit more.

It's such a shame for the only men in my life to be a cat and an elderly dog of my dear friend's.

Although to be fair, couldn't have spent New Year's without my best friend here, her dog, and my cats. So that statement only stands for now on. If I'm stuck here might as well meet people and hang out with people, right? because Harry's not here and well, i don't know if we can go back to that anyways

Times Square was interesting. Back in the day, it used to be more of a crowd than the small pits of orderly celebrations and hysteria. Steve, do you remember when the shopkeepers would put up plywood because they were sure their store-fronts wouldn't stand through the New Year?

Otherwise, I was very happy to ring in the New Year with Steve Rogers and millions of his friends. Yes, in case you're wondering, I enjoyed the hell out of that kiss.

I found that I have an in with the nurse who takes care of me in the old folks home. No tattoo on the wrist, lovely. Happy New Year.

I want to thank all that made this and last night so lovely. It is a pleasure to have met such wonderful people here. I am glad to have made friends. I was unsure of my ability to do so but I am pleased by the surprise.

Jyuushiro, Inuyasha, Kurama, do let me know if I can assist you in anything. I am looking forward to further celebrations with you all. I would be pleased to offer you a dinner meal some night as well. friends, outside of Usagi, Uranus and Neptune, is rather exciting

I can't help but look back at my life since I've arrived here. I have to say, the only way this could get better is if my mum and dad were here.

Still, hard to be sad right? All of my other favorite people are here and that's more than I could ever ask for. 2013 is going to be a brilliant year, I think!

Now I feel like I really ought to leave the tower for an hour or so. I slept in late, and I feel so ridiculously lazy. There has to be something I can do so I can feel like I've been a little productive with my day!
