The Doorway: a panfandom game

It appears Fox has run out of creativity for television shows. Many of us can watch portions of our lives, past, present, and/or future in television shows, many of which are currently airing. Curiously, Fox wishes to make a tv show about a similar subject matter, even naming Sherlock Holmes as an occupant in their fictional tower of fictional characters. Most of us may rest at ease in not seeing ourselves on television again, as only those characters considered public domain are represented. It'd be far too expensive to bring the rest of us there.

I stopped in a furniture store the other day and asked a bit about where they got their furniture. Showed them a picture of the bed I did and it sounded like they were willing to sell some of my pieces if I were to make a few things up. So I think I'll start on a chair, since that's the easiest from what I've got left over, but after that I'm thinkin' on doing some tables and stuff too.

I feel bad for those folk that have lost friends through the tesseract. I admit I still ain't quite figured out why it pulls us the way it does. We all seem to be so very different and from such different realities, and some of us are the only folks from our homes, and others seem to have a lot of their friends around them. I think we all got folks we miss from home though. I know I do.

I am enjoying having plants to grow again. I have started an herb garden for use in meals. I forgot how wonderful fresh food could be. Thanks for the help posting this, friends, I am unsure if I can do it again but with help, look! I told them to take it slow, so far they're listening somewhat. It has only been a couple days, but they like me, I think.

I suppose it's more or less always been this way, but I ain't quite figured out why people want to get all up in other folks business. It don't bother you none how they live their life, so why's it a matter of interest?

The number of papers, or magazines, or what not that I see when I walk out to get me some groceries that seem to tell everyone how folks are livin' and what they're doin' is a bit overwhelming.

I'm actually wonderin' if anyone would be willin' to show me how to do some cookin'? I've been pretty much livin' on canned things, and eatin' out, and fresh vegetables and fruits and dried meats - all of which there is in plenty - but at the same time I figure I really ought to be able to put a meal together on my own and most of the time I just get a bit lost.

Less than a week. Sorry I've not been around, between SHIELD training wrapping up next week and my Bar preparations I've not been around much, I've spent most of my time in the legal department at SHIELD.

But I survived basic training. Guess who can scale a wall now with combat boots on. This lady.

Got my Seat Ticket for retaking the bar exam via email yesterday. Two weeks from today. Really glad I was able to get around the filing deadline which I can only put down to the influence of SHIELD. Otherwise I'd be waiting all the way till February.

Between reviewing all the new material for that and all the other work I've been doing this past month for the first time in my life I'm actually a little glad I'm an insomniac. As an added bonus when I do go to bed I crash completely so that's kind of nice.

At least I have good things to look forward to when it's all said and done.

So I think I'm past physical exhaustion and have moved on to a point past it where I'm keeping up but my mind is somewhere outside my body analyzing everything and counting the hours till I can get home and fall into bed.

I can't believe it's already the middle of July. Summer and I haven't even had a Hot Dog from a cart yet. It feels inhuman.
