All the snow about has given me plenty of time for workin', although I admit it gets a little hard doin' the carvin' out in the shop when my fingers are as cold as they are. I much prefer dealin' with the snow at the ranch than the cold in the city though.

It's been cold enough that when I ain't workin' on furniture orders, I've taken to spendin' my time readin'. I'm open to any good book recommendations if you've got them. Currently I've been readin' some Sherman Alexie, and he's got a good voice. Different from most of what I've read at home, but in a good way.

Alana Bloom, who was here with us for quite a while, offered a support group for refugees in the tower who wished to speak about things that were difficult for them at home. With her absence I wonder if there is a gap and if there are some in the tower who have challenges or difficulties, and are uncertain who to speak with. If that is you, then I would offer my services.

I have experience, if not with credentials that would matter in this reality, with listening and offering care and support and experience in keeping strict confidences in that listening.
