I realised this morning that I don't have a room mate. I mean, I thought I did at first, pretty sure there was someone else there. But there isn't now. Which is cool, it means there's no chance of embarrassment when I'm prancing about just in a towel. But I only just noticed, how unobservant of me.

I took my 'net book' to work and it seems just fine here. Are things still messing up in the Tower? Too bad magic screws up muggle electronics otherwise I would have had a bash at fixing the problem.

So this place? It's very different to my city.

I've been told Cloud is here but I need to find him.

I just hope the kids are okay.

What are some of your favorite birthday traditions? When I was younger my siblings used to wake me up early by bringing me breakfast in bed and we would stay there and eat and spend time together before going about our duties for the day. I can't help but wonder what they're doing this morning.

So. Version one of the bookshelf. Kind of a flop. It looked like a bookshelf. But I had trouble deciding: mechanical arm or sliding shelves. Went with shelves. That was a mess.

Version 1.2 had a mechanical arm. But it's a bit awkward. So I'm trying to devise a way to make it fold into the shelf and disappear until needed.

Version 1.3 is getting there.


That being said, there's no computer yet to actually sort, but I think the shelf is going to ROCK. I AM SO EXCITED.

ALSO. I may have forgotten who I was told my adviser was, but I'd TOTALLY love to talk with you and figure out what I can learn! So HI!
