[Refugees in the NYPD Supernatural Task Force, Vanessa Ives. Mulder & Scully]

I know the electricity has been unsteady, so I do fear you won't be able to see this message -- And if the matters were not pressing, I can assure you my call for assistance would be peppered with a deconstruction of the faults with forms of communication which rely too heavily on modern comforts.

But the dear Ms. Ives, and others about the tower have bore witness to a strange dark shadowy figure who appears when the lights flicker.

I propose a quick sweep of the tower. I dare say, it could be nothing -- but in all matters such as these, I prefer to err on the side of caution. I suggest we all do the same.

Just now as the power flickered, I thought I saw something in the doorway.

I know better than to just ignore things like this. Most will say that it was my imagination, or a trick of the light as the electricity wavered. I know what I saw.

Nothing good can come of this.

Does this mean I get to put astronaut on my resume now?

How's everyone feeling?

Belated inquiry, but within a couple weeks. Do you consider yourself single? Also, thank you for the tree.

Have you always been this friendly with Sherlock Holmes?

What kind of job can someone who knows how to wield an ax get in a city like this where the only thing she knows is how to chop wood and this place looks more like it better cling on tightly to the remaining trees here? Because I heard jobs are great distractions.

Does anyone around here have experience with swordfighting, or fighting on horseback?

ETA: And does anyone either own a ranch or know of one where something like this would be alright?

It's interesting how we settle for starting over here. I know we don't have much choice, but our lives, our careers, get upended and we deal with starting over because, what, we haven't put in the time here? No way to prove it? After a while, it starts to get easier to forget it was any other way. And then one day you find out you get to call yourself detective again, and you get excited like it's the first time. And in a way, it is. And then you remember how far behind you are now, and the promotion feels more like you're being held back, and you've been held back your entire life, so why the hell are you letting it happen now?

Still. It's nice to hear. And I'd rather be here than in 1781.

SAM WINCHESTER:
They finally agreed to create a supernatural task force for the NYPD. You want in?

So - I'm just saying, hypothetically, if someone got married in their home universe, but they're here, what... exactly does that mean?

Hypothetically.

I can't tell by this Gift Set if we would be good aquaitances, or better enemies. What do you deduce, Detective?

As a new year approaches, I can't help but brace for the worst...even while hoping for the best.

[Beverly Katz]
I hope you'll forgive my tardiness. The holidays quite got the best of me. Perhaps now we can sort out a proper evening?

I have an engagement this coming weekend, which I am quite enthusiastic about.

Although, I believe the current popular colloquialism is 'Much Excite. Wow. So Amaze.'

Anyway, I was wondering if perhaps we might revisit the unholy terror which is "skinny jeans" to mark the occasion.

So we have two dates. I'll plan the first, and you may plan the second, as per the order of the auctions. When might you be free for a date?

One night, you're all mine. Lets make the most of it.
That date auction had some memorable moments. 1.2 million, Buffy. Congrats. And kick his ass if he needs it.

I have a problem. Someone got a live turkey instead of just buying one at the store like most people from this century do.

Does anyone know how to pluck a turkey?

I did it, like I said I would. I called them this morning, and I'll be on the float in the parade. They were actually very understanding when I fold them that I wouldn't sing, but I'll smile and wave and do my magic, and it will be worth it because of the children, and because I'll be able to start putting aside money for our futures.

I'm so nervous.

Could I borrow more of Dr. Feynman's lectures?

It was fun, skating with you today. I can't speak entirely for Anna, but I did enjoy it. Thanks for asking us.

Now, Pepper's closet has a really nice selection of clothes, but sometimes a girl needs to splurge a little. I know that the holiday shopping season starts in a couple of weeks, but I want to go now. Would anyone like to go along?

Speaking of the holiday season, we don't celebrate these particular ones in Arendelle, and everything I've read makes them seem rather solemn. Are they really? I know Jack's said that Christmas is for children, but surely it can't be just for them? Halloween certainly wasn't.

If someone mentions Guy Fawkes to me -- or incorrectly categories him as some sort of angelic martyr for precious anarchy -- one more time today, I might be forced to burn more than an effigy.
