I can't believe she's gone. And...I know back home she's one of the casualties. But she believed in it so much, I know she knew it was worth it. Making another generation pay for what others had done was not how she wanted to live her life. Don't weep for her don't regret how she went. She designed with a clear heart as warm as the flames we created for you both.

I'll be busy tonight, designing in her memory. If you need any clothes, tell me now.

I'd rather be drinking. Care to tutor a novice in your art?

It's strange the things you suddenly realize you miss. I haven't heard the Chant of Light in months. The Chant rarely caused me anything but trouble, but Andraste's words did carry their own wisdom.

I did happen upon a giant pillow war the other day. No casualties, outside of the pillows. I think this should be adopted as the leading method of warfare. I know it won't be, but it'd certainly make a healer's life easier.

I think getting together might be a wise course of action, yes? To work out more than the details we've started so far. We could have it at my apartment if you'd like, though I will promise not to cook anything. Herbal remedies are about the extent of my ability.

Amber, feel free to chastise me for taking so long.

It is all right if I have some people over to help organize some things for the clinic, yes? I likely should have asked before. I just figured it'd be a quiet place for us to discuss things.

Also I discovered they make playing cards for our game. Nothing exactly like a Wicked Grace deck, not that I'm any good at all at Wicked Grace to begin with.

But I did enjoy that I was on the card called the "King of Hearts".

[Primrose]

Have you been enjoying your time at the clinic so far? I hope you feel that you are learning.

Sometimes I miss my pauldrons. And then I usually get thrown up or bled on and I've found the clothing of this world is really far easier to clean. Still I miss the feathers. I looked rather dashing.

I know I haven't really much talked to most of you, but my name is Anders. I run the clinic on the first floor. We run off of donations and I was thinking of perhaps running a fundraiser to, well, continue helping people. Not really the part of the job I'm best at.

But my friend Amber suggested that perhaps we could make it a community effort within the tower, working together to put together a benefit that shows what we're adding to the community that we've found ourselves in. I know I had seen Cinna mentioned that he was looking at perhaps putting together a display of the works that refugees have made? And Sam, you've the most successful and likely most recognizable business within the tower. I'd heard mention that you actually have experience organizing such things, Elizabeth?

It's simply an idea, one I'll readily admit I've very little experience or ability to put together. If it'd help, I can make fireballs. But I was hoping that perhaps you might be interested in this idea? It's presumptuous to ask, but I would like for the clinic to succeed and for our neighbors in this world to perhaps look at us with a kinder eye. If any of you were interested in perhaps pooling efforts, please let me know.

I've a young girl who wants to volunteer at the clinic. Which is amazing, being so young and wanting to help people.

I'm not really used to children for prolonged periods of time if they're not currently, well, dying though. The circle thought I was a terrible influence on the apprentices. Which was likely true in their eyes.

Hi everyone! My name's Portia and I've been informed that there are some people already here who I know - which was very welcome news!

It's a pleasure to meet you all. It might take a bit of getting used to as everything is so different here but I definitely think that's a good thing.

If there is anything the Capitol is good at it is self-interest. Unfortunately I have to claim that heritage for myself. Everyone claws to get at the top, the better ones to protect family and friends.

It seems there are quite a few of us who are both very famous and very artistic. Would there be any interest in creating an exclusive boutique that sells Refugee arts? Whether the art be wearable, edible, hangs on a wall or serve some other function? If we all sell it in one place and perhaps make better money than piece meal at a boutique here, a gallery there, a bakery over that way. It would also centralize our collections so even should we disappear our friends and loved ones get the money.

Also someone business savvy should run it and figure out how to get the money for it.

Lifes little pleasures are finding a wonderful cloth shop and waking up every morning to find no one has changed the view from the window or the settings in my shower.

Hello. It's pleasure to meet you all. I'm Cinna. I'm informed that a few of the people I may know are here and this is New York City of New York in the United States of America. The people I spoke with looked like they were about to embark on the Hunger Games. I truly hope that is not the case. I doubt I will be of much use unless it lingers on and we need clothing.

Hello, everyone. My name is Virginia Potts. I'm better known as (and answer to) the moniker that Tony gave me many years ago, Pepper.

I wanted to take a moment to welcome you all to the Refugee Network. Tony Stark - as well as many others - created the network so you would have a safe space to talk without the prying eyes of the media. I'd like to give them a warm thank you for their hard work.

Some of you have been here for a while, and as of today, the Tesseract has given us more refugees than it has in the previous five months, and it's still going. I'd like to take a moment to thank the hard-working men and women of S.H.I.E.L.D. for their diligence and perseverance. Without their quick thinking when refugees began to appear, this would have been nearly impossible for any one of us to handle.

And on that note, Director Fury has asked me to pass along the message that they are in dire need for Administrative Staff to help with processing. Anyone who is interested can pass on a note to your Housing Assistant.

Speaking of, there should be one Housing Assistant per two floors (and in one case, three floors). Should you require any assistance, they should be able to help you. Potts Tower is not a new building, but we have gutted it, given it an ARC reactor for clean energy, a full service gym in the basement, an outdoor patio and pool area, and an entertainment area. We plan to utilize all of these areas in the upcoming holiday season in the hopes that it helps alleviate some of the melancholy of being without your families.

Once again, welcome to the Refugee Network and Potts Tower, and I look forward to getting to know you.

-Virginia Potts
