Our furniture's arriving this evening; I just had a text message. I should be done in time to get home and have the Stark Charity people take away their things before ours arrives.
Would you like to special order furniture for the bedroom? We have the pieces that they provided, but I rather think a nice wooden bed frame and matching dresser could be... a nice look?

I had last year had a talent show in the tower that showcased various talents of those who are here. It has been some time since we did that, but I thought perhaps it might be time again. And then it occurred to me that perhaps there would be some use to partnering with another group, or perhaps asking for an admission charge that could benefit a group in need. And I thought of the youth center as a possibility either for partnering with - it might be nice to showcase the talents of some of our younger tower residents. Or perhaps for fund-raising if such would be helpful.
Please let me know - if you have an interest. I am happy to assist by serving as an organizer throughout the process.

What is... particularly unnerving about it, is that I had dreamed, had a nightmare I suppose, about my time with the borg that very night. I'm certain it's just a coincidence, but a truly eerie one.
Yes, that will be me, missing breakfast with you for most of this week, unless you want to have it at a ridiculously early hour. We're finalizing plans for surgery with Major Danvers, so between tests and discussions with Director Brand and Dr. Strange and the rest of the team we'll have working on this, it's going to be a long, very lonely week. I can't even promise you all of tomorrow, as I'll be in for at least part of the day, ordering tests and making sure we have the good operating theater.

This does it. People have been coming into to medical all day, complaining of being ill. Coming on the heels of our recent mission to Galia-9, I am initiating a quarantine of all SWORD personnel and facilities until further notice. Tests are being done to determine the nature of this illness, but until we know more, the normal care for norovirus-like illnesses is recommended: rest and plenty of fluids. If you are unable to stop vomiting or otherwise, anti-nausea medication will be administered.
Hello, Ms. Serra. I'm Doctor Crusher, and I work with Kaylee at SWORD. Today we became aware of what appears to be a nasty virus that is affecting the crew of the Ascension, those people who were part of the mission that Kaylee was involved in shortly before Thanksgiving. I have taken the liberty of placing everyone on quarantine until we determine whether this virus was given to us on the planet we visited, or if it its origins lie on earth. As it is likely that Kaylee has been in contact with you since she was exposed to this virus, I would ask that you consider yourself to be under this quarantine, and to remain in yours and Kaylee's apartment until test results are available to us.

Considering we both just got home, the markets are likely a disaster today, although even with that they are probably still less a disaster than the emptiness of my refrigerator, I'm going to put in a vote for us going to Sam's tomorrow for Thanksgiving dinner, and then coming back here, with some wine and some candles, and enjoying the evening together.
