Aisha, the patient who had the lucid episode on Saturday, had another one today. It lasted approximately seven minutes, but she wasn't able to give me much more information than her name. I've had her hooked up to a monitor since the last one, and I am confident that we will be able to tell when she's about to have another period of lucidity -- her readings jumped significantly prior to this one. With any luck, the next time she'll be able to tell us where she's from or who we might contact for her.

For a year I've maintained that I have no desire to return to Starfleet Medical on a permanent basis, and my brief time here at SHIELD has only strengthened that belief. I really don't think that I was challenged enough.

Well, its almost Spring Break and I think that I need a vacation and to get away. Anybody know of any great destinations? Personally somewhere that I can just lay and relax with a drink in hand.

This is mostly inspired by an ongoing debate at the office and people posting about the Winter Olympics: but if you could somehow compete in either version of the Olympics what would your sport be?

For me its a tie between snowboard cross and hockey for winter and rifle for summer.

Growing up in Alaska, I was surrounded by winter sports. The only one of them that I ever tried was skiing. Sometimes the easiest way to get places was by going cross country. I was never good enough to think about competing in the Olympics but I have a lot of respect for those who do. Right now I'm watching the four man bobsled and that looks like fun.

I know some of you have mentioned that you stopped watching your show, or reading your source material, because it got to be too much. But I've been wondering lately about something else - how much does what you see or read affect what you do here? I've noticed lately that I'll react to something from the show and, in many instances, I will compare something that happens in my life here to what I've seen playing out on television rather than relying on my own memories and experiences.

Just seems a bit disconcerting. The easy thing is to stop watching, but I feel its easier said than done. I want to know what is happening at home, however fictional it may be.

Shame about the States lost in hockey, but sees they're still doing all right in the standings. We're not even in the top 10. Not that I'm upset. Maybe disappointed, but I haven't watched that much of the games.

Though I did watch snowboarding. Now that looks like fun! And lets go ahead and add ice-skating to that as well.

Ummmmm I'm pretty sure that my toaster just attacked me and so did the microwave. What the fuck is going on around here? Why are appliances starting to revolt? I think I need a hiding place for a while.

If anyone needs an overnight escape from the chaos I've got room in my hotel room. And I'm on the mend so should not be contagious anymore.

The coffee maker refuses to work, the television keeps flipping back to HGTV (like I care about your need for a vacation home in Biarritz).

Hell of a day to be sent home sick. I'd rather be working a case.

My tea kettle just revolted along with the remote.

The remote hates ice hockey and thinks I'm watching too many game shows.
