And of course, if you guys know anybody who you think would be a good fit for the Recreation Lead position, please point them my way. It's a big job, and Emma and I are doing our best splitting up the duties for the time being, but we're already missing Piper pretty desperately.

So, who wants to go to Punk Island 2013? Because it looks awesome. Shady Hawkins is playing, and they're amazing. Other bands there are possibly also amazing, but there aren't many things I dig more than female-fronted punk and metal bands.

So, unfortunately the PTYC has recently lost several staff members to Tesseract shenanigans, and we've reached a point where Emma and I can't pick up all the slack by ourselves. I just hate replacing them. That means we're hiring again:

Business Manager (full time)
Someone to oversee the budget, financial planning, fundraising, and accounting. You'll also work with the fundraising lead, Silena Beauregard, which you should definitely consider a bonus.

Recreation Lead (full time)
Responsible for planning and executing programs and events for fun and recreation (such as the monthly Mario Kart tournament, the Art Club, etc.) You'll work closely with our education coordinator, Emma Frost, on joint events and programs.

Staff (part time)
We're looking for two or three more people to work about 20 hours a week. Staff have the responsibility of talking with visitors, playing games with them, helping with homework, being Good Examples and helping as they can with anything else our visitors need, and acting as support for the program leads. This is great work for students, since you can flex the schedule around your classes.

If you're interested, comment here and we can set up an interview. I'm looking to hire fairly quickly so we can get back up to full staff and I can start eating and sleeping like a normal person again. Feel free to ask any questions you want about the center or the positions, too.

I can't sleep. I don't know if you're even awake to see this, but my mind is moving a million miles a minute and I can't sleep. I miss you. I miss having you around all the time. I miss when things were easy. I don't know where I fit anymore. I don't belong with the Avengers. Nobody even wants me there except you and Tony. And I didn't fit at Grayburn anymore without you there. I messed it up, Jan. I messed it all up. I'm never what you need. I'm never what anyone needs. No matter how much I try and be that, I always end up doing the exact opposite of what people want, and I'm afraid that one day, I'll end up screw up so badly that there won't be any coming back from it. We were lucky with Ultron. I was lucky. It could have been so much worse than what it turned into. I could have killed you. I could have killed everyone. All my genius has ever done is reap destruction, and now that I'm trying not to use it, that I'm doing what you guys wanted me to do from the start, everyone wants that Pym back. Brilliant Dr. Henry Pym, pacifist, reckless genius, and potential destroyer of worlds. I don't want to be that guy again, Jan. I don't want to be him. I'm safer just punching things. Everyone's safer if I'm just punching things.

I miss you.

You ever get those nights where you're completely exhausted, but your brain won't shut off? Not my favorite way to spend an evening.

Dinner at 8. Someone else is paying for once. I'm fine with pizza and beer, whatever. We need to brainstorm.

There's few things more embarrassing than finding out being called "one of a kind" was a sham. Ouch. Not sure when that sting's going to wear off, but sounds like I might have the time to figure it out.

I'm in a weird position here where if I say Avengers Assemble I'm going to get a lot more replies than I'd expect, right? Are we all going to start wearing identity tags? Thing 1 and Thing 2 shirts?

Anyway I'm Tony Stark. Four of a kind and counting.

Great. I get sucked into an alternative reality, and it isn't even an interesting one. Same old SHIELD hijinks, some old self-righteous insistence on knowing what's "best" in these unpredictable situations. I just have to wonder how long before we've got to pull you out of the fire because you've been focusing on the wrong part of the problem. Again.

Alright, I've got some questions.

1) Why are the other-mes white?
2) How good are doctors and medicine around here? I'm kind of dying of what I've been told is an inoperable brain tumor and I'd really rather not.
3) Where can I find a good cheeseburger?
