I have to admit I haven't felt this well in such a long time. Even after my first cure I thought I was feeling better but now... I have to wonder if it was just my mind and me comparing it to how I was not that long before it. I feel like I'm in my twenties again. I have no idea if that is normal but I am not complaining - it makes it easier to keep up with the children as it is.

Shawn
Thank you once again. It is still hard to wrap my head around. If there is anything I can do to thank, please let me know. I feel like I owe you a big one.

Obi-wan
Thank you for the conversation the other day. I enjoyed it a lot.

I was looking up a few places for open mic night, and I was wondering if anyone else around here likes to play guitar. I'm looking to find a passable used one, but once I get it, it would be cool to play with other people.

I would like to thank Mr. Anders, for welcoming me to the clinic on the ground floor. The place looks wonderful, far more modern than my office in Storybrooke. I've set up my office well enough for what I need, which isn't much. I'm a therapist, with a medical degree and doctorate from a curse with decades spent helping people. If you'd like help or just someone to talk to, please come by. I can schedule appointments Monday - Friday (8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00) and have reserved an hour before and after for walk-ins. You can walk in any time, if I'm not with a patient. On the weekends, I'll be around in the mornings as well.

All help is confidential. You can reach me on this network, by phone, text, email, or in person in the clinic.

I am hoping by opening this question up to general public that more ideas might be generated.

The clinic is a non-profit, funded mostly by donations. We have gotten some from people we have helped, but supplies are expensive and since we are not running for profit that does leave us with funds that rather rapidly drain.

In this sort of world I've still very little experience with fundraising, but I have been doing what I can. If anyone has any particular ideas on that subject the entire clinic would be incredibly grateful. Or anyone with experience in setting up such things, I believe I've had patients suggest fundraising dinners or bake sales?

Sadly I can't magic up money. It would solve so many problems if I could. Though likely create more.

Your disapproval is already noted. Though I do hope you're settling in well with Shield.

I never thought I'd say this, but running a clinic in vermin riddled Darktown was almost easier. I just had to worry about carta, templars, and random thugs but at least when you or I killed them there was usually gold in their pockets.

You may need to knock some sense into me with me missing the carta being around.

This is going to come off as some sort of tacky online dating profile if I don't give a little lead-up, so please bear with me.

I've never been very social. In high school, I wasn't competitive enough for sports or creative enough for the arts. I was just interested enough in getting good grades to lose all rights to hanging with the "cool" kids, but not quite weird dedicated enough to fit in with the geeks. College was more of the same, and the agency kept me busy after that. I'm not saying I was friendless, but

The point is, this is stupid and long-winded and I have no idea what I'm doing, I'd like to make a stronger effort here to get to know people. With that in mind, I thought I'd toss out a few details about myself and see if anyone with similar interests wants to chime in. If not, well, uh that's fine, too.
  • I'm a decent shot and I don't mind spending time at the range even outside of training.
  • I like music that's more about a great voice and the lyrics than about giving people a soundtrack for dry humping on the dance floor. Not that that's a bad thing.
  • I still read an actual newspaper every day. Real books are a must, too. I'm a tactile person, I guess. Or maybe just old-fashioned.
  • I like math and science, but the more gross the science, the more likely I will find an excuse to slink away.
  • I enjoy trivia games, puzzles and chess. I'm not a fan of poker. Too much of a luck factor, and mine generally sucks.
  • I like to work out?
  • My favorite movie is Clue. Or maybe Shawshank Redemption.
  • I almost got eaten by a fungus once. That's not an "interest" obviously, but it seems noteworthy.
  • I would never normally do anything like this. Ever. I don't even know what this is. I blame the cube.

So, I've been here for like...almost four months now.

And sure, I get that people are totally jealous, but it's getting old to have people not like me. Like. Really. Why don't people like me?

Bann Purrsly has decided that she owns my entire bed. I'm having a hard time disagreeing with her.

[Laura Roslin]

I have recently come into contact with a healer who may be able to assist with the issue we had discussed previously. His only condition is that you be discreet in who helped you, which given his past I find reasonable. I can provide more information if you would like, but given that I do not believe my own powers could assist you his might be able to.

[Clinic Staff]

I have to say, I'm impressed with the work each of you has done. With the storm, I know our parents and myself are all appreciative of the time you've all put in.

We have some new faces in the staff, which hopefully will allow us to serve our patients better. With how it's going we're likely going to have to find someone who will do, well, I believe they're called secretaries here. And they still get to keep their minds here

However we do have a limited number of funds from the loan given and current donations that we've received from patients. I will admit that back home it was usually just a matter of getting dragged around by Hawke to break up a few bandit bands to get funding, which I'm fairly certain is not how to help the clinic in this world.

That said, any ideas on the issue of fund raising would be excellent. I would prefer that all of us get to keep working, after all.

Hey. So I've considered what you said and I'd like to help out at the clinic, if possible. And I was wondering if there was any way we could find to get me the more severe cases in other hospitals too. Just walking in and trying to help isn't actually possible, apparently.

You know what I love about New York City? Convenience. It's so convenient. Need a drink, there's a place that sells drinks. Hungry? So many choices. Want to see art? Plenty to see. I think my favorite thing are the salads at the delis here. 5 ingredients, protein and choice of greens for like seven bucks. And I can eat it in a park. A park, nestled among the highrises. It's just nice. And relaxing.

And I got to do something over the weekend I haven't done in awhile. I love working with wood. The smell. The feel. Just making something, repairing something....

I was trying to hold off on this, but I'm starting to think it's a good idea for this to be known in case of a medical emergency. Or if people actually try to hurt each other. My name is Shawn Farrell and I'm a healer. If you run into any situations where the wound seems fatal or there's an incurable disease, let me know, and I'll help. I hope I can trust your discretion.

[NATHAN]

Hey. So. I have a day off tomorrow. We should have lunch or something. There's stuff we should talk about.

[LUCY]

I'm off tomorrow. I'm hoping to meet Nathan for lunch, but then you and me, okay?

[Unfiltered]

So how many people in this place have super powers, anyway? God, it feels weird to be able to be so open about it

Hello, everyone. My name is Virginia Potts. I'm better known as (and answer to) the moniker that Tony gave me many years ago, Pepper.

I wanted to take a moment to welcome you all to the Refugee Network. Tony Stark - as well as many others - created the network so you would have a safe space to talk without the prying eyes of the media. I'd like to give them a warm thank you for their hard work.

Some of you have been here for a while, and as of today, the Tesseract has given us more refugees than it has in the previous five months, and it's still going. I'd like to take a moment to thank the hard-working men and women of S.H.I.E.L.D. for their diligence and perseverance. Without their quick thinking when refugees began to appear, this would have been nearly impossible for any one of us to handle.

And on that note, Director Fury has asked me to pass along the message that they are in dire need for Administrative Staff to help with processing. Anyone who is interested can pass on a note to your Housing Assistant.

Speaking of, there should be one Housing Assistant per two floors (and in one case, three floors). Should you require any assistance, they should be able to help you. Potts Tower is not a new building, but we have gutted it, given it an ARC reactor for clean energy, a full service gym in the basement, an outdoor patio and pool area, and an entertainment area. We plan to utilize all of these areas in the upcoming holiday season in the hopes that it helps alleviate some of the melancholy of being without your families.

Once again, welcome to the Refugee Network and Potts Tower, and I look forward to getting to know you.

-Virginia Potts
