[Michiru & Setsuna]

Would either of you like to come see movies with my roommate, myself, and whomever else shows up tonight?

This city is endlessly fascinating. People don't stop and take time for things, I've noticed. It is as if the finite amount of time they have means they can't spare a second to relax.

I'm still a little sad that the little friend I got my bunny disappeared the other day. I've been thinking about getting another friend for my bunny, but I don't know what sort of friend to get. Plus, if I disappear then it is two animals that need new homes instead of just one.

[Michiru, Setsuna, Haruka]

If I disappear, make sure my bunny is taken care of.

And I suppose the tea shop too.

This is not where I expected to end up. Fascinating how things can surprise even I. However I find I cannot return, to home or to the Gate, and this has me somewhat worried. I was told my Lady and my colleague are here - Usagi? Michiru?

Getting a chance to see the Cherry Blossoms was a great idea. I am truly thankful for such a break. It was lovely and I spent my time well.

Hanami has been one of my favorite traditions for a long while, and I intend to continue to observe it while I'm here. If anyone would care to join me, I will be traveling to Washington to view the cherry blossoms later this week. I expect there will be plenty of opportunity to follow the flowers north as the weather warms and the parks and gardens of New York awaken, and this will not be the only excursion to view the blossoms that I will make.

There was a time when I could say, with complete honesty, that in all of my long life, and amongst the many things I have seen and done, I have never been drawn into the world of pop music. That time has apparently ended.

Frankly, I can't find it in me to be annoyed, not when the same culture that has me singing my life story has subjected nearly all of my friends to the same treatment. I have a feeling Hiei might already be on his way to Japan to set someone on fire if he were here to find out they have him singing.

Who: Jyuushiro Ukitake, Setsuna Meioh (Sailor Pluto), Ninth Doctor, Tenth Doctor
When: Friday Afternoon (April 5th)
Where: Timeless Tea Shop
What: An old complaint needs some new help.
Rating: Teen for medical drama and TB-like symptoms.

Setsuna's shop offered a welcome reprieve from the difficulties one faced when uprooted from a life and career that spanned more than twenty centuries, and Ukitake intended to make the most of the free time that now filled the rest of his day. )

I wish I had the money and time to fly to Japan right now. The Cherry Blossoms are out and I wish to see them back 'home'. I mean, aren't they simply gorgeous?

It's Spring. Officially. I wonder idly if we shall see Spring soon or not. As such, however, I have begun prepping spring treats for the shop. I am trying to stay with tradition and put only seasonal treats in store. We'll see how it goes.

I have had a great deal of time for thought lately, and my mind always ventures back to those times when I made my most difficult decisions, and when I gave my hardest counsel. Aikanáro's decision not to wed Andreth was, of course, his own. I would never have forbid the union, no matter how little I disagreed with it. I was his brother, not his father, nor hers. But despite the sadness it caused both of them, I do not think I would have counseled either of them differently. Their pain would have been intensely worse had a marriage between them been allowed.

It was a time of war, even if we had been in a Watchful peace for some time, and our kind does not marry in times of war. With Aikanáro being the warrior that he was, this was even more crucial.

Secondly, though I do not doubt their love, I truly believe that marriages between the Eldar and the human race must be only allowed for reasons of the Highest Doom. They are not something to be entered into lightly, or without great thought.

Thirdly, Aikanáro's pain would certainly have been worse when she ultimately died after so short a time had he allowed himself to love her from anything other than afar.

It was difficult counsel, but I do not regret it.

Just realized that I haven't bought anything green since getting here, so green hair will have to do for tomorrow.

Unrelated question - what are you sorts out there that come from a medical background doing here? Something medical related or totally different? I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm looking for some suggestions. I have over ten years invested in medicine, albeit magical medicine, so I'm hoping for some direction.

Hey you. How are you doing?

I want to thank all of you who have come to Timeless Tea at some point. You're making this a lovely experience for me! And I was glad to whip up some White Day treats yesterday. I'm so blessed to have good friends here who made the day perfect.

I long for the solitude of the Gates, though, time to time. I fear that the city is terribly busy and sometimes I miss my moments of quiet. But then I return to Timeless and find myself in a serene environment. I love it and am glad it's mine.

Thank you, again. For making things possible. For making this life easier when it could have been miserable.

Introducing: SuperSud's Spring Lineup!

Limited Edition:
Garrus Vakarian: Neroli, honeydew melons, white amber, magnolia, sun-scorched wood and green musk. The musk cuts a masculine note admist lighter, clean fruits.
Setsuna Meioh: Mysterious, beautiful, and patient. Cinnamon against the background glow of amber and cardamom, pimento berry and creamy benzoin create a smoky, warm incense smell.
Claire Bennet: Deceptively girly with an edge that appears in the drydown. Sun-warmed daisies and pink musk against the base notes of caramel, fresh-cut grass, and metallic copper.
Diana Prince: Calming herbal lavender made powerful by the undercut of vertiver and amber. A frothy, diaphanous vanilla laces through a sharp lime. Unique, unisex, and beautiful.
Raven Darkholme: This one's a morpher, and is composed of ingredients that smell different depending upon your personal chemistry. Cotton candy goes straight to winter berries and black musk. Jasmine and orange peel in the background keep this perfume anything but traditional, but always lovely.
Rose Tyler: A blast of rain-tinted ozone, lime meringue, and freesia makes this perfume light, breezy, and clean - perfect for the office (or for going on space adventures and not making the doctor sneeze!). Adventurous and uncomplicated.
Sam Merlotte: Cozy, warm, and definitely sexy (sorry Sam, but everyone knows it's true!). This fragrance mixes ginger and caramel in a gourmand vein without ever getting too sweet. Smooth benzoin and single malt whiskey notes add depth, while brown musk makes the scent feeling... well, just a little bit furry.

Special Spring Scents: inspired by a comment made by Ellen Ripley. Thank you! This scents are available as perfume oils or as room sprays!

Flowers in Space This was a bit of an experiment - pure ozone, cold, clinical mint, and stray hints of a floating bouquet. Daisies, Queen Anne's Lace, and fresh stems hover at the edge of the scent. A unique take on smelling of flowers.
Flowers on the Battlefield: Lay down your wreath, and honor your heroes: Stately rose, white orchid, calla lily, rainfall, and cold stone. Serene and solemn.
Flowers in the Lab What happens if you deliver flowers to the lab geeks? Spritely, spicy carnations, a zap of electricity, and a light undercurrent of mint, smoke, and cologne of uncertain origin. Playful and silly!
Screw Flowers; They Suck For those of us who were spurned, get allergies, or otherwise loathe flowers: A forgotten bouquet of love-lies-bleeding (a spiky, plush flower known for its tendency to injure), despondent pear, and a box of discount Valentines Day Chocolates.

Also! The business has really taken off, and I'm so grateful to everyone who's purchased and enjoyed my products. It wouldn't have been possible without you, and without taking advantage of the strangely obsessive nature of NYC's bustling fandom.

That said, I would love to hire anyone interested in the following roles:

Packing/Shipping/Delivery: This person would ideally be able to lift up to 40 lbs easily and travel the city to deliver my products to participating stores. He/she would also need to manage the shipment of products from the web, and make sure that the orders are filled, packed, and picked up by the post office.

Shop Clerk: This person would need to be friendly, like meeting new people, and willing to help sell products in the store! I track sales but we don't do commission - just end of the month bonuses. All I need is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, though an interest in bath and body products wouldn't hurt.

There is nothing better on a snowy day than a cup of tea and honey. I've been curled up in a chair at work all day watching people come in and out of the snowy city. It reminds me of the times I watched from the Gates, keeping an eye on everyone and enjoying the serenity of the place. Snow has a timeless quality to it.

In addition to providing a quiet place for Valentine's dates, Timeless Tea will also be providing special meals for the Chinese New Year. I'll be preparing teas and small dishes that reflect traditional meals and look forward to both events.

[info]sailor_pluto

I am extremely pleased with how things are going with Timeless Tea. I am enjoying the work and the services I am providing. Currently it is just Usagi and I here - but I am looking for at least one other part time worker. I am happy to train in the most basic of tea arts with options to learn the more advanced if wished, although this makes it so you do not have to worry about knowing anything about them to start.

I am pleased it has been a quiet day, too, for I am spending time with dear friends, and working on flower arranging for the upcoming holiday. Although to be honest, I have never been one to really embrace the holiday. It was not celebrated in the outer Gates, for obvious reasons. But I will attempt to provide a romantic atmosphere for those who wish the quiet of a tea house for such things.

[info]silveryouko

I understand that Valentine's Day is rather important to a number of people, but I would appreciate it if the public would stop requesting roses from me in advance of the holiday. I'm certain there are more than enough florists to fill the need.
