Guys, this weather is killing me. It's March. It's supposed to be warmer than this by now. What God do we need to pray to or ritualize to get the snow and sleet and grossness to go away?

So when I showed up here the woman running the clinic, Dr. Hendrix, was helping me find specialists who might be able to see if there was anything they could do about my heart. I haven't really thought about it much since she got taken back by the tesseract because I've been feeling fine and I don't really have to use my powers that much. Usually.

But honestly I didn't feel great while we were fighting stuff in the TV dungeon. So maybe I should start looking into all that again. I just don't really know what to do or how to handle it.

I still haven't woken up yet, and because I thought I was in a coma dream I ate my weight in cheesecake. I'm regretting that now.

We should do something nice for Jan. Maybe have a group dinner, or a housewarming party, or something? I know it's not a lot but maybe it'll help.

Okay, so I've commandeered the 13th floor's entertainment rooms for this weekend and next week for a grand extravaganza!

This weekend, we'll be showing the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy! Because it's awesome and because some people who arrived were wondering what happened and stuff. Then next week, we'll do the Hobbit movies. I found a copy of the last one. Don't ask me where

I'm not bringing snacks for everyone. That's a long time, so you'll need to bring your own. Or if you want me to buy things, I can do that, but I need everyone to pitch in before they can have any of it. I work at a coffee shop, so I don't make a lot of money.

But we have the room, and it's got comfy seats and it's big enough for like 20 people or something.

If anyone's feeling lonely during the 'snow storm' there's some people looking on Craigslist for a cuddle buddy. And probably a lot more.

I grew up in Beacon Hills, California (which doesn't exist here, but I guess.. think of Sunnydale) and even though there were some pretty low temperatures, the average was about 40-50. Snow? Once in a blue moon experience.. although the last time I saw snow was a trick played by a.. supernatural being called the nogitsune and it wasn't even cold.

And then I walk out of a late class and there's snow again. Real snow, of course. I'm still waiting for myself to get used to the cold winters in NYC but apparently, residents of NYC are still not used to it so there's no hope for me.

I'm sorry that I'm posting this so late in the week, but as you're probably aware, it has been quite a busy week for everyone as we settle back into the halls of learning and begin the process of truly readying ourselves for the Regents Exams at the end of the school year. As a reminder, my classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and my office hours on those days will be 8-10 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I will try to make myself as available to you as possible, but please remember that I am also a co-director of the PTYC, and so may not be in my office all the time on those days. It's not every day that one lands on Earth and is offered a spacious apartment for free. Perhaps the Avengers I have encountered previously could learn a thing from these ones. I'm grateful for the fresh start, though if we could find a way to summon my ship, I'd be even more grateful.

I am Noh-Varr. I come in peace, and I solemnly swear I will not declare war on this Earth, in case anyone here has heard stories through the multiverse and is concerned. That was a dark time. I'm not like that anymore.
