The Doorway: a panfandom game

I would like to encourage anyone who has not already signed up for my Etiquette and Courtly Manners class to do so. If my experience in this place has taught me anything thus far, it is that many of the people in this world are sorely lacking when it comes to basic etiquette.

It seems there are a number of courses being taught on the history of the reality as well as this technology. I would suggest they might be of use to us if we are to be stranded here.

First off, I cannot tell you how happy I am to not be sparkly any longer.

Second, it seems like its taken forever but I suppose it isn't that long, but I've found myself a job. Now I'll have a break from Arthur. I'll be helping out over at the clinic.

I don't understand how this could be happening Magic is forbidden in Albion Merlin? Morgana? Arthur? They told me you were here. Is that true? Am I even using this thing right?

I kinda miss gettin to know folks round the buildin. Would their be any interest in the weekly ice breaker I was doin a few months ago when we was gettin slaughtered with new arrivals? If not, I'd still like to do a get-together so I can mean some of the new folks.

I do not understand any of this, I do not think I wish to. However they have taught me how to use this device, apparently to contact other people. I have also been informed that there are others here from my 'world.'

I just realized something - Merlin used magic on me when we first met. I don't know why it didn't occur to me when we were watching the show last night.

How many other times have you used magic on me, Merlin?

I had a small moment of confusion while out today. Quite by accident I overheard a conversation between two people discussing the kingdom of Albion, but that was all I understood of it. The names they mentioned were unknown to me. Would anyone here happen to know who this Isabelle or Jack is that they were discussing?

I haven't made any progress towards finding a blacksmith here but Lancelot has offered me some wooden swords to use for your lessons. Assuming you are still intent on learning to use a sword of course.

It's been so long since I thought about the first time I arrived in Camelot. It almost feels like it was a lifetime ago. I ended up in the stocks more times than I could count because of Arthur. I almost forgot how much of a bully he had been then. And that started the first of the many times I had to save Arthur's life.

One "episode" in and nothing terrible so far. From what I know of our history...there are terrible things in store. I know that I must continue though. There are questions that still need answers. I need to find out what happened to Morgana and Mordred.

Unrelated question - what are you sorts out there that come from a medical background doing here? Something medical related or totally different? I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm looking for some suggestions. I have over ten years invested in medicine, albeit magical medicine, so I'm hoping for some direction.

Guinevere's suggestion that I give lessons here has lodged itself in my mind. I've already volunteered my services as a teacher to Matty but I am thinking about trying to make a living at it. Assuming I can find a place to give lessons and students would you be willing to help me in this?

I'm not asking you to give up whatever jobs you have found for yourselves, but just any time you could spare.

I bought two pairs of shoes, none of them in fashion but ahead of it, have managed to piece together my grand collection of moisturizing creams and of course bought other necessities, which might include chocolate ice cream and those cheap plastic spoons that break as soon as you try to scoop up some ice cream. I am probably nearing bankruptcy, so if anyone knows of a job opening anywhere, it would be appreciated. I also have college brochures.

But I don't think I'll be watching the show I come from. There's really quite nothing like being reminded of your past through another perspective - and I'm not so sure I want to be glued to the television just to see where the next episode leads me and the people I care about. Youtube told me enough. And I'm not so sure that I should wait around for Blaine either.

After all, why torture yourself?

I remember when I was but a young boy still, in the Havens of Sirion, I would often awake to the sound and smell of it frying, and these breakfasts are memories that I still savor.
