Waldo's is better than the bees, yes? Or April fools.

And I keep forgetting what I wanted to do today. This is the fifth time I've approached Java Moment, only to go back to my place and so on. I'm becoming Neville Longbottom.

Writing reminders on your hand is so tacky, but I just resorted to that.

The tesseract certainly is making it hard for me to be able to leave my shop.

I don't suppose anyone would like to work as a delivery person for my shop? At least, temporarily?

Dean's gone.

My brother's gone back, so he won't be coming in to work tomorrow. Or whenever he was supposed to.

IT WAS SO EASY TO GET!

I'm not really one for dancing, so forgive me if I didn't attend this prom thing. I didn't really like it when I was in school, I'm far too old for such things now. Unless Chuck was here. And then dancing was always a little hard for us. Unless she wore gloves...

Anyway, I spent the weekend perfecting our new special at the Pie Hole II:

Blackberry Chiffon pie. It's even better than it looks.

And for spring, I have a whole range of fresh squeezed lemonade spritzers; blackberry, strawberry, peach and raspberry.

You should definitely come down and enjoy a slice.

Private to Harry Potter

Maybe I could take you up on the drink. I could use some company.

Been thinking a bit too much about the girl back home.

Whoever left this at my door, you're welcome to have it back.

Also forget where I currently live. Immediately.

Long time, no talk. That's a crying shame. What have you been up to?

[ned]
When I get back from this camping trip, we should talk doing a legit pie review. I have a couple of contacts for my website or blog or whatever these kids are calling it these days.

You know, some days I just wish I was normal.

Does anyone else have a power that they wish they didn't have?

Dear internet,

I think I have found a job. Perth the advice of Iron Man, I put an ad on Craigslist asking if anybody needed me to shine their shoes. I also included a picture. This did not go well the first time because I accidentally posted it in the personals section for Little Rock, Arkansas. A very nice lady asked me how much I charged for an hour and whether I did "in-calls," but I told her that my wife didn't have her dad's car here so I could not travel all of that way. She did not write back. But I tried again in the jobs section for Manhattan and another lady told me that I was welcome to shine shoes at a tall building that is a law office. I guess they don't have time to clean their shoes because they are too busy writing laws. Maybe if I do my job good enough, they will write a law that says April Is The Best And Everyone Should Do Whatever She Says. Otherwise known as the AITBAESDWSS Act. You should practice for when it becomes fact.

HEY. So, I was thinking that it is kind of weird that we live in the same building but not in the same apartment, since we are married and have already had sex a lot of times. There are a lot of machines in my kitchen that I am afraid to touch. I don't know how to make chili in them, so I have been eating Slim Jims and Cap'n Crunch in a cup. Do you think we should live together again?

I found some nails in an air vent. I think they are made of iron. Can you use them in the llama?

Well here's something I never thought I'd see:

Hang on.

I've been uploaded to the internet before, so the whole "You're on a TV show thing" sort of makes me feel like this is just another one of Chin Boys adventures. This isn't really some TV station that likes to make people THINK they're a TV show, but really they're on a reality show about people who handle how their lives would be if their lives were a TV show.

Anyone seen a really skinny, really pale weird fellow with a giant chin and funny hair? I sort of need him to give me a ride home.

Spring is certainly taking its sweet time warming up, isn't it?

The bees actually make me feel a bit more at home. My girlfriend Chuck keeps bees, and at first I was a little freaked out by them, but since they remind me of her, and the honey she always smells like, I can't help but smile when I see bees about.

From my experience, if you keep calm, the bees will generally leave you alone, though they might be curious at first.

That said, The Pie Hole, which is now officially opened to full hours, will be featuring Cup Pies with honey baked into the crust and a bee design, all this week in honor of our new friends.

[info]thepieman

Well, it's taken a few weeks, but I have the Pie Hole II ready to open it's doors for a soft opening.

What does that mean? Well, essentially, we're just testing out the recipes and we don't have everything printed and all the uniforms and the design done. We're mostly looking for feedback from the public about our pies and everything. We serve both savory and traditional dessert pies, as well as coffee. Eventually we'll have espresso and all of that, but we're simple for the moment.

That's what the shop looks like now.

I'd love if everyone came by on Monday for our opening!

Things can never go well for me, it seems. This morning I woke up and Chuck was gone. Just like that, I'm alone again.

It's like suddenly my world was sunshine and now it's rain again.

Thank goodness for work on the shop, otherwise I don't know if I'd cope so well. Do any of the people that leave come back again?

Would you still be interested in working as a waitress? I could use a good one.

I don't know if you've already found one, but I'm looking for someone to work delivering pies for my pie shop I'm opening at the end of the month, and to potentially be a taster/helper in the kitchen. I'd been told by your brother that you are an especial fan of pies. Would you be interested in that? Let me know.

So good news to all the pie lovers out there! After the overwhelming sales from Valentines Day, and thanks to an excellent business plan that several people helped with, including my wonderful girlfriend Chuck, I am pleased that New York will soon be the home of The Pie Hole II.

The outside won't be quite as charming as the inside, but still. Anyway, I'm looking for waitresses and a delivery person. I know several people talked to me about working for me once the shop was up and running, so now I'm formally accepting applications. Well, all you really need is to tell me why you'd like to work with pie and what your pie passion is and I'll see what I can do.

Filtered to: Molly Carpenter

Um, I have a question for you. Well, or something I want to talk to you about. I know you do magic, and this isn't quite magic in the traditional sense but I'm still hoping you can help me. It's a little different than advertising though...

[info]callmeronsan

So, uhhh it kind of sucks to wake up and call out to your girlfriend and realize she's not there. I mean, I know she's back home and there's nothing going on back home except for college, but yeah. At least she's back home, you know! Because that's where she belongs anyway.
