The Doorway: a panfandom game

This will be the first time I haven't been able to call my family on Christmas. I know they won't notice. But I will.

Because this game is massive, and even if every character just sent ONE package to anyone, it would end up being so many posts that it would overrun the game. So to save our friends lists from imploding, we the moderators are asking that you fill out this form and reply HERE. It'll make it easier to find (Control-F is a lovely thing!) and we won't have to abuse our scroll button. Here's how we're going to do it. You will post for one character with everything that they got for their friends/family/etc. Make sure to tag your character and all the characters that yours gave gifts to as soon as you get their information up! So yesterday when I was on patrol, I came across this vampire, that was drinking blood out of a mug. Just drinking blood, out of a mug, wearing a black coat just like Angel's and like... I mean, he was fine. It was one of the ones from home. He wasn't bothering anyone, so I didn't bother him. But this place is so weird.

24 days until Christmas. I'm really glad there's a fireplace here. I haven't had one since I was a kid to hang stockings on. They don't look as impressive on the wall.

Where do you think the best place to get a tree is? I don't want one of those weird plastic ones.

I ate too much yesterday I think. But damn that food was good. Also Declan looked handsomely adorable in his outfit for his first Thanksgiving here.

No but seriously, who allowed me to make my own decisions. Sydney I need a real adult. Where do I find one?

So, I know how hard it can be sometimes to stay active in the winter. It's gross outside, and it's hard to want to get out and do things. But, with that in mind, the PTYC and the ESD are getting together to start up some intramural sports teams! We'll be playing basketball throughout the winter, mostly, and once spring happens and we can get back outside, we'll be mixing things up a little more. These sports will count for credit, and it'll be a great way to stay active and make new friends.

Sound like a good idea?

Sooo who is having a Halloween party next weekend? There's got to be someone somewhere in this building having a party.

Only ten days left until Halloween. I have no costume yet. I'm running low on ideas. Does anyone have good suggestions?

I think I'm finally getting into this whole decorating your floor thing. It's actually kind of fun.

The Refugee Supernatural Task Force (and liaisons should they desire to come) are in the Stark room of Sam's Bar & Grill for an Autumn potluck.

Wesley provided lasagne trays with enough to feed everyone. Others are invited to bring desserts, bread, salads, or whatever else they are interested in bringing. The first part of the meeting is primarily for fellowship and getting to know each other better.

The second part of the meeting would be business so after everyone is done Wesley will get up and lead a bit of discussion. There has been quite a bit of turn-over, so he'll probably review the brief history of the group, how they started as a liaison to SHIELD for supernatural tasks, that was disbanded when funding fell through so they continued to work on the side as it became apparent that the Tesseract did not just bring through good guys and that sometimes some of these supernatural threats escaped into the native population and then would need to be dealt with. Currently they are working mostly extraneous to SHIELD, SWORD, and the NYPD, however they have in the past worked with those organizations at certain times and are open to doing so in the future.

He would want to have any suggestions as to how to better share information about the many variations of vampires/werewolves/etc that we have here. He would also remind them of known variations in this dimension.

He will also ask for any suggestions regarding structure of the group/patrolling schedules and if there is anything that can work better.

And finally he would open it up to Sam (if he's there) to talk a bit about liaising with the Supernatural Unit of the NYPD and what that entails.
