The Doorway: a panfandom game

Uh, hello? Is this thing working? [...] Is this thing on? I don't even know how this strange and metallic item works but someone here told me to push its flat surface on a certain spot and speak out loud, and that it would help me talk to people on something called a network. I've also been told that I was here previously and that I might know people. [...] I feel like I would remember that.

Anyway, I'm in space. SPACE! At least, that's what I'm told to call it. The planet I can see out the windows is apparently the same one I was on this morning. I can't tell if it's the same one from up here, but it's a nice view. I'm apparently restricted to this place called a space station.... weird name.... because of an event on the planet that's preventing any travel to and from it. At least, that's what I was told.

So it seems this holiday is about explosions. Fireworks I believe they call them. Sounds like a fun way to spend an evening. Who wants to come with me and see if we can find a good place to watch some?

There are good people here. They promised a bed, coin, Anders, some possessions, and something called running water. And the last one isn't a form of magic. While I haven't seen Anders yet, there is a bed, possessions, and the ability to purchase something, food in this case. So I shall take their word on the water. There was a lot of loud noise last night! The strange box on the wall was talking about explosions and fires. It reminded me of when the dragon attacked Camelot, although I'm sure there's not a dragon here...right? I could talk to Regardless, is there anything I can do to help? Was anybody injured?

The Tesseract saw fit to take a majority of my students from me in the last three months so I am now left with quite a number of vacancies. Father's Day is this Sunday but I see no reason why we can't celebrate it for the whole weekend. Within minutes I can have us all transported upstate and enjoying the elements. How do you feel about that?

This is wicked! And disconcerting, at the same time. That glowing blue object did me quite the favour, getting me out of juggling multiple eggs in the name of entertainment. Now I've had the whole explanation about why and how I'm here from those super helpful people when I arrived, but I'm much more fascinated by this item they've given me. They say its called a phone? I would like to encourage anyone who has not already signed up for my Etiquette and Courtly Manners class to do so. If my experience in this place has taught me anything thus far, it is that many of the people in this world are sorely lacking when it comes to basic etiquette.

It seems there are a number of courses being taught on the history of the reality as well as this technology. I would suggest they might be of use to us if we are to be stranded here.

It's kind of weird to realize that my birthday is only a few weeks away. It was so much earlier in the year where I came from, so it doesn't feel like I should be so close to turning 19, yet. But weird or not, I'm celebrating, dammit. I just have to decide what i want to do.

First off, I cannot tell you how happy I am to not be sparkly any longer.

Second, it seems like its taken forever but I suppose it isn't that long, but I've found myself a job. Now I'll have a break from Arthur. I'll be helping out over at the clinic.
