There is to be a contest of eating today involving a most delicious confection known as a 'cannoli'! There shall be much devouring of them and I am excited to compete against others in such the noble sport of eating vast quantities faster than those beside me! To all others of the tower who shall compete, I am glad to meet you in the ring of food honor!

I'm thinking maybe I should start seeing a therapist or something. I guess I've still got some unresolved issues with my with my dad's death. And my mom's death. Being stuck in a horrible nightmare where they keep dying over and over again, and I can't stop is is pretty terrifying.

So this is probably the most boring chapter of my life ever. Apparently this is what normal is supposed to be like or something. I've played on the computer and trained and worked on some spare parts I picked up at the salvage yard and made some At this point I'd almost be happy to go back to Gotham and take up the Bat Boy duties again. Almost.

I have seen talk of this school that the children and teenagers of this tower must go to.

Is it truly required? I have only been on school once and I did not find it pleasing. I do not wish for my mind to be taken under control by the swirly televisions once again. The drool was most unpleasant on Beast Boy and I do not wish to drool.

I am happy to see that fellow residents of the tower are unharmed.

These bombs are human beings, and they're burning hot enough to vaporize anyone near by. Containment is our top priority to minimize civilian casualties. This is not a take the target alive mission. Take them down to prevent further damage.

These people are extremely dangerous. You've all seen the damage that they've done in person. There are people that have turned themselves into high powered bombs about to go off around the country. My agents are being sent in but this is bigger than just the attack on New York. I believe that you've all been sent here for a reason, whether you want to think it or not. People needed you back home and the people here need you now.

HEY, so I propose an idea. Since getting in the building is kind of a pain for everyone else, I thought it might be cool if we did an ice cream/dessert social on the 13th floor. Completely impromptu, but I've got a ton of ice cream (which I admit, I went a little crazy for when I was at the grocery store because it was SO HOT outside) and some toppings. People could bring ice cream, toppings, cookies, cake, etc, and we can all get together and spend some time getting to know each other.

Anyone game?

I guess I just never realised, that without Gotham City, there isn't a whole lot to put on crime blotters for Jersey.

Hank and Janet are gone. Just like that. No goodbyes, no nothing. Just poof. I don't wan to end up like them, I don't want to end up like Torunn and forget everything and everyone here. I used to think time travel would be really really cool, but now it's totally lame. :(

Even when all seems very hopeless, it is encouraging to see how many people come together against such hatred. No matter how evil a person can be, they cannot stamp out the kindness in others of this planet. So many are willing to stand up against innocent people being hurt for no reason other than hatred and cruelty.

Wow. New York City is really something else. It definitely doesn't have quite the dark seedy underbelly of Gotham but I am really digging the food. Brought home Vietnamese last night and it was pretty good. The pizza is spot on too.

So I've been checking out the workout room and since Cyborg isn't here I really need a new sparring partner. Or a couple people to run with. Or some people who want to play video games. Any interested parties?

Now it's starting to feel like home.
