On the way back through Potts Tower, I stopped in Nolita for breakfast. It is not our typical neighbourhood, but judging by the number of sharkskin suits funneling into a closed restaurant across the way, we may not be getting a fair picture staking out Maggia holdings only in Brooklyn.

I don't really know how they do things in Asgard (kind of fell asleep during that lecture), but if you're reading this Thor, I'd like to challenge you to an armwrestling match.

With Finesse gone, it kind of got me thinking that we haven't really done anything as a big happy family in a long time. Weather's getting nice, so, how about a barbecue up on the 13th floor?

The Youth Center is hosting a nerf war. I think our teams have coexisted largely in parallel for some time, perhaps tonight is a chance to test one another out.

AVENGERS ACADEMY (students), XAVIN, GWEN STACY:

It is really weird to hear about stuff that's happened at home after we got here. It seems like a lot of stuff was going on, and all we have is waiting around for someone to show up who knows more, or waiting around to wake up with memories, or whatever. I almost think I'd rather not know anything than know fragments and only have more questions.

This is incredible. I really need to get my hands on one of these.
In my own universe, I could just go to the Arctic, flash an Avengers ID and get in on the study but my resources are extremely limited here. The breakthrough is entirely worth it and if anyone has any ties to the Russian or French research team involved, I would really like to contact them.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but, am I the only one that never thought DiCaprio should win something at the Oscars? Don't get me wrong, he's way talented but The Wolf on Wall Street? Not his best role.

Who has two thumbs, red hair, and totally forgets when her birthday is? This girl! Who has the bestest and cutest roommate of all time? This girl! If it wasn’t for the nummy cupcakes Dawnie set out this morning I wouldn’t have even thought to check a calendar – and even if I had I’ve been so caught up in planning Ostara and Beltane altars and special sale items that I would have seen today and just thought, “I only have a couple more days left to create the loose leaf incense for the Ostara kits! And decide for sure what to do for Beltane!”

Well, it looks like I’m going to get a chance to relax, reflect, and maybe meditate a little more for the next couple of days. My buddy Ken has given me the chance to close the shop for a little while so maybe I can meet up with a few of my friends that I’ve not been able to see? Huh, huh, huh?!

The store is going to have to be closed at least until Tuesday, I’m hoping Tuesday is the latest anyway. Lirael & Luna, thanks so much for keeping calm today and helping with the little cleanup - I appreciate your help so very much.

Pamela, the store’s closure shouldn’t affect you or your patrons – just let them know if you have any appointments already setup that they’ll have to go through the back entrance. You have the key so feel free to come and go just as we discussed; the lounge and kitchen area should be fine to use still as well.

Spike, are you busy Sunday night? I need a little help with something in the basement.

I mean is anyone really surprised Canada won? I mean honestly I'm pretty sure hockey is like one of the only things they allow young Canadians to do. It'd be like if they won the Olympic gold in not seceding from Britain or something.

Completely unrelated I totally have some money now so mamas taking her hubby on a date.

I need a new phone. Between flappy bird and it's sudden stand alone complex, it broke. In my hands. All by itself. Into many, many pieces. Somehow.

Not that I want to jinx it, but in little over a week, I'll have been here for a year. Alternate universe or not, this is... This is amazing. It's a blessing. An opportunity. A chance to do everything that I never could again. I don't know if this is someone's sick game, and sometimes I find myself getting skeptical about something blowing up in our faces. But then I look around at what I've got: my wife, my teammates, my friends, new friends... Game or not, I'm happy here, not just because I'm alive, but because there are people here that I love, and no matter where we end up, as long as I'm with them, I'll always be happy and at peace with the flow of this life.

So thank you, tesseract, I owe you one.
