The Doorway: a panfandom game

I was supposed to be off in Asgard by now, but something important sort of came up and I think I'm going to stay burrowed in our aparkment for at least another day so that OL and Lace can figure each other out a bit better and I can get this echo in my head to stop. Chase is already gone to battle.

If anyone needs me, you got me at least another 24hrs before I suit up.

OL is going to stay with you while I'm gone, she'll listen to you like always. Maybe keep her at the apartment and just come stay with her when you aren't with Kurt. We'll all be back ASAP. Chase still has his connection with OL it seems, so you'll know we're okay through her.

I return to your realm today with news far more dire than our usual banter. The nine realms have been thrown into chaos. Thor and Asgard are in need of aid to help reestablish peace among them. There are to be many a grand battle to determine the fate of these worlds and rip them back from the clutches of chaos.

With many noteworthy individuals now on Earth, many of you who have battled alongside my brother in arms now, I come to beseech aid of any heroes who wish to help another realm that is not their own. I have heard word of the many selfless acts of the residents here and I have faith that some of you will rise to the call.

Volunteers, we rejoice your service and I eagerly await joining you upon the battlefield.

Happy one year anniversary to me.

It is so hard to believe this is real sometimes. That I've really been here a year now. I've seen more and done more in the last year than I ever imagined doing, and met so many amazing people that I'm so grateful for. It was hard at first - it's still hard being away from my family, and I miss my brothers and sister so much - but the people here help. They help me, at least. I can't answer for anyone else.

I feel kind of at a loss for words today, but thanks, Pepper and Tony, for putting us up and helping out as much as you have. This would have been a really awful year if I hadn't gotten such a nice start.

If I weren't trying not to fail this semester, I'd suggest a party in honor of this moment, but maybe I'll be free by New Year's.

i'm bored. call me crazy, but i kind of miss when our home got blown up every other month.

is it just me, or have we not gotten into any trouble lately? maybe all our bad luck really was from nico. i mean, no one's died, we haven't been attacked by vampires, zombies (ok that one was my fault), or evil god things in a long time. molly, when's the last time you made wolverine cry? or gert, when's the last time you felt compelled to drop a sarcasm dagger in a bank robber's back? and xavin, do you even still fit in your uniform? are we just out of touch? or did this place make us soft? either way, if trouble isn't being dropped in our laps anymore, i think it's time we stopped being lame and find us some trouble.

I know Thanksgiving is the next holiday on this crash course of corporate greed and madness, but I'm just wondering: Festivus? You down with that, or are you a pure Christmas person? Being a non practicing Jewish gal myself I don't quite care for the religious merit in any holiday. So this whole Chrismahanukwanzakah (not to be confused with Festivus, just both are alternate forms to Yule and other December holidays) thing sounds interesting...anything to get away from the commercialization of an entire fucking month (two months?!) would be amazing.

Hell...Hanukkah why are you starting so early this year?! Freaking lunar calendar.

So after looking through a few packages I've come to the conclusion that there's actually some pretty amazing deals going on right now. If I can get your confirmation that we're all in this and want to go; I can possibly get us a good deal for a Disney Christmas. I think Molly would really enjoy that and Klara would probably do better in the warmer weather anyway. I've been saving from my work, a lot actually, and the not running lifestyle means this is actually really plausible.

Let me know what you guys are thinking, I can set it up for us tonight. Actually I need to set it up for us tonight if you want it to be a Christmas thing. Otherwise it'll be a January 2014 vacation.

so look. i'm bored as hell. we need to do something. Nico would be making us go out and stopping bank robberies or something, but I say we need to talk about a vacation again. we got some change now, right? can't we go to Disney world like we talked about like.... months ago? preferably before one of us gets taken back or killed. plus the girls kind of deserve it. Molly only complain half as much as she did before. we gotta reward that hard work, right?

Training is exceedingly boring when you can memorize everything on the first view and repeat them immediately. I know and understand things these trainers don't know, and I've done things they've never seen. How many times did we save the world and we were just Academy kids, not even real Avengers?

Two more weeks.
