My grandfather was kind enough to teach me how to use this device, although I am still quite unsure how it works. But it appears that I have just arrived in this new, and strange place, and I thought it would only be polite to introduce myself.

Whoa. It's 1AM. I think the last time I checked, it was like, 4AM and I had discovered the entire compilation of Whose Line Is It Anyway episodes on YouTube. Can I tell you have HILARIOUS those guys are?? I miss this show, man. They ought to do like, a tour or something. This is funnier than whatever is supposed to be funny these days!



have I been up for more than 24 hours? I think I have. That can't be good.

I have seen and done a lot of things in my eighteen years, so it usually takes a lot to really leave me freaked. But can I just say that doing an all-day marathon of all four Paranormal Activity movies had to be the worst idea ever? The first one was the scariest, but they were still all way creepy. I jumped, I screeched, I hid my face with a blanket half the time.

And it wasn't because it was really scary or anything! But the way the cameras moved and just sitting there knowing something was going to happen, oh god oh god did it.

On the plus side, I think I can keep from sleeping with the lights on or something like that.

I'm really excited about taking classes for college. It was exciting enough that they let me in, but it's double exciting to actually be taking the classes. Taking classes online is going to be interesting, to say the least; I can't decide if it will be more or less of a distraction to be doing it from the comfort of my apartment, but it's awesome either way. I might be the only person in the world to be excited for college, but it's not that huge of a difference from when I was back home. I'm square with it.

Without missions, though, I feel like I have way too much time on my hands, even with school. I have watched so much TV lately that I'm pretty sure my brain is going to leak out of my ears pronto. I think it might be time for me to attempt to join the ranks of the employed. Scary thought, right there.

On behalf of PTYC, I am excited to announce some upcoming volunteer opportunities. Adults are also encouraged to participate.

1. I have been in contact with a children's ward at a local hospital. They are eager for volunteers to come interact with the kids, especially in the form of storytelling. For those of you from a popular book or fairytale, this is an easy way to lift their spirits and bring a smile to their face. I will be taking a group Saturday morning at 10am.

2. Can you lift a spoon? Then you're qualified to come help with a soup kitchen this Sunday. They have a lot of mouths to feed and not enough hands to ladle. We'll leave Potts' Tower at 9am to help set up for lunch.

This is probably weird but Hi! I'm Kim Possible and we spoke briefly when you first arrived. I'm not sure if you remember or not, but it's not important.

The reason I'm even writing anything is because I was watching some TV just now and I glimpsed my face, but not as a cartoon. I started to watch the show and it didn't take very long for me to figure out that it was your show and the face was your daughter, which explained a lot from when we first spoke way back when.

Anyway, I'm sure that this is really weird for you, but I did watch a few episodes and it seems like your daughter is really pretty great. I hope she shows up here soon because it's obvious you care about her deeply, which makes sense since she's your daughter and all. And finally, I'm sorry if it's confusing having me around; I've always looked like this to me, so it's a bit confusing to me as well.

Does anyone know the procedures in America for entering Universities? I imagine it might be difficult for those of us who have very different credentials, though I WAS going to Cambridge before I was brought here.

This is the first time that I've ever been to NYC for something that wasn't mission related and I've decided that it shouldn't have taken a mysterious ~force~ to have done so. Because, seriously? Seriously. This city is about 10x better than Middleton.

Okay, sure, it's a bummer not having people from home around and I've sort of been feeling some Bueno Nacho withdrawals (although they'll probably be nothing like those that Ron will be dealing with sooner or later), but the shopping is way better than anything at the mall back home and it's all just so big. Love it. Even if said shopping begins to teeter on being a bit dangerous. A job will have to be looming in my not so distant future.

Hi. I'm Nico Minoru, and while I embrace the Gothic lifestyle in all its sadness and despair, occasionally my head is turned by a noble visage, or turned by another type of cheek altogether. Also, I think some people are under the impression that because I'm an Asian-American, I have to be quiet and studious and polite and Zen, and none of those are ever going to happen. I'm Christian, I really wasn't anything special in school, and if you exoticize me because I'm Asian I'm going to jam the Staff of One down your throat. For the record, it's magical and very large.

In an effort to bring some motherfucking togetherness to this joint, I'm going to confess something. Ordinarily, I'd never fail the Bechdel Test like this and would tell you all about how awesome Gertrude Stein is and how I think "The Rock" is a criminally-underrated action film, but I'm bored, I haven't boy-hopped since I got here, and I don't have a thing to prove to you or anyone else. Also, I think that fighting and violence is ridiculous unless I'm doing it to someone I hate, and that love is all you need for the most part besides Nutella.

So. Here are my confessions:

I'm not one for the femmes but Lucy Stillman is the most adorable girl I've ever laid my eyes on. Lee Adama can lecture me about morals until he turns blue in the face and he'd still be fine. Malcolm Reynolds can land his Firefly in my docking point any day, and Lancelot fills me with such romantic longing that I could probably write an epic poem in iambic pentameter strictly about his butt. I'm Team Gale. Percy and Annabeth can get it, Wolverine is clearly the coolest X-Men, and John Shepherd produces in me one big mass effect. Also, there isn't a single Avenger I wouldn't do if the moment was right, and Buffy is still amazing.
