Woohoo! That was fun! Kind of like being back in Kyrat but without the gut-wrenching terror of people trying to kill me and animals trying to eat me. All the adrenaline, none of the bleeding. Awesome.

It is almost impressive that refugees and the superpowered have not played a large role in the presidential race, but that may be my past experience influencing my opinion. We do warrant, it seems, some attention on the senatorial level. And they are the ones who pass laws.

For those of you who aren't from around here, Super Tuesday is practically the most important day in the Democratic and Republican Primaries where 12 states (and America Samoa) are voting on who they want. Over half the necessary delegates for the Republican candidate and over a third for the Democratic race are up for grabs!

So I'm having a watch party in Room 210. Anyone who wants to can come. I've got recipes from every state voting, red and blue cupcakes, and the Ruth Bader Gingsburg coloring book. Come early and fill out your predictions! Just like the Oscars, only with less Joe Biden. Unless we're lucky!!

I had all but forgotten what the world could be like without the constant kaiju incursions. Peaceful, certainly, but also more fractured.

Another Fashion Week over. What's next, Oscars? I'm going to be really disappointed if Zoe Saldana doesn't look fantastic.

Frustrated with painting. There's something I'm trying to get down, but it won't come out right.

I like the time between holidays at this start of the year. Each one shines on its own.

Back in Kirkwall, I regularly aided the people walking the streets and responding to cries for help. In this world, the Avengers serve a similar purpose: not part of any bureaucratic organization but there to protect the people when the need arises, when the strange arises. Which of you are already a part of the Avengers? What has that experience been like? And which of you would be interested in something like that? They face their own bias, but it is not one focused in the direction of magic specifically.

For those of you who have been here for quite some time what I'll be mentioning momentarily isn't new. In fact, we may have even had a conversation about it at one point. Or you at one time were a student of mine.

If you weren't around when last I brought it up or happened to have missed it, I started a magic school last year. My number of students has increased and then decreased but never to a point where keeping it running was deemed pointless.

Between my newborn daughters, a son who continues to grow everyday, and a dog my time to devote to more than two students alone has become a struggle. It is for that reason that I am reaching out to you in the hope that one or more of you wouldn't mind joining as a private tutor.

Lessons have always been done based on both student and teacher's availability. They could be one on one or a small group. That has always been left up to the student's personal preferences. What's important is that the student feels comfortable and safe so as to avoid accidents. I began with a basic curriculum working my way through the elements and would then tailor it based on the students own abilities.

Madame Mills School of Magic was started to give those with magical gifts the guidance they may need to gain control of them. It was also started so that all involved could learn from each other without judgement from others.

I'm sorry I was late coming home last night, love. It was a rather long day.

I have to admit, I kinda miss the times when politics and debates and all those normal things that citizens worry about were someone else's problem. Even though I've been here just over three years and a month, I still have trouble remembering that I'm supposed to vote. And pay my taxes. Being legally dead was a whole lot easier, in some ways

2016 sure is off to an interesting start.

So now all the business with the presents is wrapped up, and the enormous end of year balls have been dropped (Not a word, Iron Bull) are we just expected to... sit quietly and suffer in the snow for the remainder of the winter, or is there something I'm missing, because I can't understand why anyone would want to live in a place where being cold is an expected state.


Although, I did buy these. They're USB heated slippers. So my life, it could be worse. We should have these back home.
