I reveal little of the X-Men's secrets to say that they host events, open to all mutants (X-Men or not). They like to host segregated events as I understand it because it is a safe place for them. That is a valid reason and valid feelings. However, I am not the only mutant on a team mixed of mutants and non-mutants. I'm not the only mutant for whom that fact, that identity, is not above all other identities. As such, I dislike that most of my opportunities to get to know people are separate, pushing people into categories that are arbitrary to the way I see the world. To act only in dualities I do not see in conflict is to reinforce them, to encourage people to think only like those in their category.

I would like to arrange events that are open to mutant and non-mutant, events I want both specifically to come to and mix. They can involve training, and they can be more social. To invite everyone in the tower is one possibility. But too large of crowds do not feel the same as smaller settings. I would like both of your advice on who you think would most benefit to come, for me to invite. If it is training, it should be those who have training and who wish to take part. I dislike the term "super-powered" individuals because James has no superpowers, but he is the heart of my team.

I would also like your blessing and support in organizing these events. I have no experience, and you both have much.

My room is missing most of one wall. And it has a much larger window without a pane than before. I've cleaned up what I can of the mess, but there are repairs I'll need help to do and supplies.

Hello, again, Steve. Tony said someone was traveling with him to Italy, and it's not Pepper. I assume it's you. I'm sure you're looking after him anyway, but I feel better knowing you are doing so. He's stronger than he realizes, I think, because he was blaming himself for all of the deaths. I believe one of them was yours. But you're okay, back in your timeline, at the farthest point anyone knows, yes?

He reminds me of Tony, mine, I mean, a great deal. Hulk blamed him and the Avengers for Ultron. I think he blamed himself too, and you can see what that would mean. He kept going, always, and kept us going. Seeing him today reminded me that it takes a stronger person to cry and break down and keep going than not to let that in at all. I don't know if he'd accept hearing that from me. Perhaps from you.

Despite my teaching duties, I find myself burdened with time. There is a building location within Hell's Kitchen that constantly draws my eye as suitable for a training facility. Martial arts is indeed a specialty of mine and I feel my time could be spent leaving a positive mark on this world. Should anyone wish to join me in teaching combat to various skill levels and ages, I would be honored to continue pursuing this goal with you. I only require that you are a master of your art and are capable of showing patience and compassion to the students.

Mother, Father, there are a few topics I wish to discuss with you.

First, registration for courses approaches. It's been some time since I spoke with mom about classes. My background is more in the sciences than other fields, as well as training to fight with my other siblings. Tony and Bruce worked on the physics of breaking time and fixing it mostly on their own. We took turns watching Kang the Conqueror.

Second, I want father to move into the room in the empty apartment my bedroom connects with. You are both important to me, and I know it can work well if you both commit to it doing so. Bast made a generous offer to live in her house, but I will not abandon my siblings, and I would like to live here with both of you.

Third, you agreed that there was some time until I would be able to travel to Wakanda. I'd like to know what progress has been made. And if there has been none, I want to know what more we can do. In absence of being able to travel to Wakanda soon, I would like to see Africa. It is a vast continent and beautiful land. At the least, this should be possible.

At the beginning of the American Revolution, the great American hero Thomas Paine said, "These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as freedom should not be highly rated."

While Thomas wrote these words to inspire the American people to demand their independence, the principles he espoused are universal. Freedom is seldom attained -- and tyranny seldom surrenders -- without a struggle. In a sometimes-cruel world, we have been blessed with freedoms that far too many have been denied. Most of us are not native to this Earth, and yet we enjoy the freedom to speak our minds, protest our nation's wrongs, worship any God (or no God) that we choose, and seek justice for the ills committed against us. Though these rights were not established on this holiday, they were born out of a key phrase penned in the Declaration of Independence. 237 years ago, the Founding Fathers wrote that they held certain truths to be held self-evident: that all men were created equal, and that they were endowed with certain unalienable Rights. Chief among them were "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness." There are those who would deny us those rights -- terrorists and tyrants and villains who will use any means necessary to try to demoralize our people. There are those who would breed distrust and twist the truth in an effort to destroy the fabric of our world.

We have not, and will not, let them.

Make no mistake about The Mandarin's beliefs or goals. He speaks of honor and teaching, but he indiscriminately slaughters innocents and children. He claims to wish to expose America's crimes, only to bring death and destruction to those who bear no responsibility for them. The only lesson to be learned from his tyranny is that he will stop at nothing to cause chaos and destabilize the ground beneath our feet. That he will feign any ideal, exploit any weakness, and use any rhetoric that he thinks will achieve his ends. He is not a man of principle: he is an opportunist who would set the fire to the Earth if only he had the satisfaction of knowing that he lit the match.

But The Mandarin, like so many dictators and tyrants and bullies before him, underestimates the strength of the human spirit. Over seventy years ago, Benito Mussolini made the same mistake. When the tide turned against him, he attempted to flee like a coward and was executed by his own people for his troubles. Three days later, Adolf Hitler burned in a bunker when the world fought back against oppression. In the decades since, many such men have faced the same penalty for their crimes, while others have rotted in prisons deprived of so much as a glimmer of daylight. The Mandarin would do well to pay close attention to the fates of such men, because he will fare no better.

In his quest to defeat us, he has arrogantly overlooked the most important history lesson of all: that, like those who came before him, his day of reckoning is coming.

In lieu of so many connecting events, what can I do to aid this world? This threat must clearly be eliminated irradica controlled...managed. Remaining idle while such enemies threaten a world is not something I can comply with.

It's weird how quiet the apartment can be when certain teenage girls who've abandoned their home are all moved out. Francis, that is not an invitation to create chaos and destruction.

Still, it's definitely noticeably calmer around here. Which, I guess, goes to show things don't go straight to hell without Kate here.

How insane is this? On a scale of one to ten. I'm genuinely curious here.

There are many parallels to this world and the one from which I came. There is still charm to Hell's Kitchen, as there are familiar faces and locations, which is interesting. Very, very interesting.

Brother, would you please share with me your experience in trying to enter Wakanda? I have great need for it's resources and wish to enter with diplomacy or with stealth. It is my understand that while you are me and I am you of other worlds, Wakanda and 'us' remain a constant in any universe, and our weakness can be best exploited with twice the mind we are than one.

While I still intend to squeeze the last bit of life from his throat, it does not seem that Namor, nor his kingdom, are present here in the sense we know, at least, from what I can (or in this case cannot) find. We need a bigger think tank, our minds are bright, but we were brightest as six. You mentioned that Bobbi is from our world, but further ahead in time? We should speak with her to ensure that this is the case and to better understand what variables are in play in order to protect this world.

It is good that everyone appears to be returning to how they once were.

Scott, Kitty, and I went to investigate a lodge up in the Catskills this weekend. It is both more remote and less rustic than our last retreat and near a very clear lake. There is a town a thirty minute drive from the lodge. I do not know if it makes a difference, but this lodge has a hot tub.

We are planning another escape, as we are calling it, for the Weekend of 1 June, leaving in the late afternoon of the 31st and returning sometime on Sunday. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend for teambuilding, training exercises, and an atmosphere of camraderie. We are from different worlds and experiences, but there still remains a strong sense of kinship which we can and should work to build. You need not make your decisions now, but mark your calendars and let one of us know so we can begin plans for supplies most notably alcohol.

We are trying to acquire the pink bus again.
