The Doorway: a panfandom game

I got a job working for the theater department at a local private school. The work is rewarding, but it is only temporary. I will value experiences like this when my name is in lights again.

OMG. I got the part! I am going to be Liesl in Sound of Music! That is so awesome! I still can't believe it.

Open auditions for a musical. It's not on Broadway, but honestly, I'm not ready for Broadway. I don't even know if I'm ready for this. I was... I sang for the first time since.. well, in a long time, yesterday, and I still can. I mean, I'm still really nervous doing so, but it doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I suppose that's a good thing. I still want to be a star. I've just been derailed a bit.

So, is this winter finally giving its last hurrah? Will we be able to start wearing the cute spring fashions and stroll through Central Park without worrying if we have a heavy enough coat on? I hope so.

And Easter is right around the corner too.

I really should learn, not to find out anything about the show... although I did find out that apparently I am going to be in Funny Girl. I am not really anywhere near that point, being ready to audition for anything, that is. But I think I'm ready to go out and do karaoke, see if I am ready to start singing again.

I do miss Kurt sometimes. And I am somewhat looking forward to Blaine's graduation... I really don't want to see.... see.. well, certain people. It's for Blaine, though, so I think I can do it.

This place is so weird.... people are changing genders.... I am so glad I'm still a girl....

It's been such a long time since I had the chance to be excited for spring break, and here I basically... forgot it was even coming until today. Oops. Some of my classmates were talking about where they're going, and they asked me, and I just kind of stared at them blankly like, oh, right, that's a thing now, that's something I can do.

So I have no idea what I'll do, but now that I'm thinking about it, it feels really normal. I mean, don't get me wrong, I loved being part of the Power Pack and training to be an Avenger, I loved helping people and doing good, but I spent all of my teenage years doing that and not worrying about things normal teenagers got to worry about.

Like what I'm going to do for spring break.

There is nothing like getting in your pjs after work and eating junk food while you watch Twilight.

Snow and freezing temperatures for this week. That groundhog needs to learn to be a herald of summer. I mean, what does he get out of predicting cold? At least the fashions here are better than Lima. I've been able to catch a few more shows than I normally would have.

Anyone have recommendations for a new show here on Broadway? Or off broadway?

Let me tell you, being stuck on the subway for an hour may be part of the New York experience, but my ice cream almost melted. Good thing it was still cold out. I personally don't mind the cold, or snow, especially here.

Oi, I can't believe it's February already. And this winter hasn't been a very good one, but there has been some good things since I've been here. Some very good things.

It's going to be quite different without Hermione being here. Quite.

Tomorrow is a big game, called the Super Bowl. It looks like it's as popular as the Quidditch World Cup. I'll have to check the telly and see what it's all about.
