After several weeks of contemplating precisely what I want to do, I have decided to open an apothecary of sorts. As much as one can open such a shop here but that is beside the point. It will be in the Village and will be called Ophiuchus.

And it is pity I had walk in via the front entrance this morning. Some poor unfortunate thrower of water will be developing the most horrific boil on his backside in the coming days. It will undoubtedly need to be lanced. Slowly. Painfully. Possibly even repeatedly.

I will have a reasonably full supply of potions, both standard and otherwise, as well as all the standard ingredients. I will also be able to supply modified instructions for brewing potions that would normally require magical ingredients if you wish to brew them for yourself. The rarer or more unusual potions can be brewed upon request.

Did you guys know this was a thing? And if you did, why did no one tell me, because it looks brilliant.

Cricket and I have moved flats. I didn't see the need to hang onto such a large one just for us and I wanted to be closer to his BFFs.

So, I am now in 2405, which should be very convenient for kitten playdates, yeah?

I do still have one empty room, so if anyone's looking to acquire a flatmate, let me know. Must like cats, obviously, but other than that I swear I am very easy to get on with. Especially if you happen to cook, because certain people will tell you that my culinary skills are quite lacking.

The people in this world are disturbing. I think I'm staying in for the next month or six.

Ok, so this day is turning out to be very odd. Was there any reason this could have at least waited until after dinner service? At least then I'd be wearing something other than my chef's coat.

Just a reminder that tonight we'll be having our third meeting on the 13th floor for the Refugee Survivor group. You're welcome to come and share stories of your loved ones -- no matter how they left you. You're also welcome to come and listen, if you're not ready to share.

It hasn't been very spring-like lately, at least not consistently, but still I am ridiculously excited for warmer days. Sunny days at 70 degrees, that's all I'm asking for.

I shall be very happy when this semester is over and I never have to look at this Calculus II book again. Of course one of my study mates then had to remind me that next semester I signed up to take Calculus III. It's one of those classes that are 'strongly recommended, but not required' which I've been told translates to "Just sign up for it and save yourself the hassle." Midterms are over as of yesterday which makes this lockdown slightly less of a hassle for me. I do hope that those who are not feeling well recover quickly and feel better soon. A good cup of tea works wonders for me. My hope is that it will do the same for you.

Are you experiencing any of the symptoms that has the tower in lockdown? I'm not. I know I just saw you this past weekend but it feels like I haven't seen you at all besides that. We should rectify that. There's a few exhibits at the American Museum of Natural History and Metropolitan Museum that look interesting. And there's a few things on Netflix and Hulu that look great for curling up on the couch and watching with you.

This is somewhat distressing but mostly interesting. I finally got to use the loo. I've been waiting ever so long.

So apparently I'm law school material. And I guess I'm going through with it. Even if right at this moment I don't really remember why it seemed important.

If this ends up going viral on the internet, I-- probably won't care. It's not like anyone will be able to tell it's me rather than me-on-the-show, anyway. And if you just want to take the idea and make your own, that's fine too.

I woke up this morning craving lemon whisky cake. And I've been craving it the whole day. I'll pay real money to someone who can figure this out for me and bake me one. And then while I'll eat it, I'll probably tell you about how my friend's cake is probably better than the one I am eating, because she was the one who made it. Sorry for that in advance, but you know. Loyalty and all of that to people who aren't even here.
