It's not like I won't get to see Jaina again in the future, it's true. In my future even. All of the stuff she remembered - my training her, all of that stuff has yet to happen for me and we'll become close again when I return, but I had enjoyed getting to know her here and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to miss her at all.

You're all invited to Mara's birthday party, Friday, on the 13th floor. No particular theme, though we're going to do Mexican food! Music, fun, and I don't know what games go for parties here.

We're having a Video Game mixer this weekend at the Youth Center for anyone interested in coming and gaming. Open to all ages, just a bit of fun and to help open up some interest. Not that I blame anyone for not coming around much this week, but now that school's started I'd love to see it as an afternoon spot people could come if they like, just to do homework or hang out with friends. I've spent some time this past weekend trying to make the game room a bit more cozy and fun, and there's a new coke machine I think you'll all enjoy.

I was out for a few days but have no fear, things are running smoothly yet again.

Also, Hal Mason is gone, for those that are friends. I hadn't seen him for a few days and when I came to check he had returned to his world. I wish him well and hope he's safe.

Basil Hallward has been officially reported missing. I have nothing but absolute faith that New York's finest will get to the bottom of this matter and he'll turn up in a few days time. If anyone has any information about where it is Basil might be, I encourage you to go to the police or if you prefer - to my lawyer Saul Goodman. I've done my best to co-operate with the police and the experience was ...quite encouraging.

My greatest fear is that, instead of wandering off as I believe he's done, the tesseract has somehow managed to take him away without the activity registering. As tragic as something like that might be on it's own, the idea that the tesseract is capable of invisible transportation is a terrifying one -- after all, that means anything could arrive here undetected, doesn't it?

Done with one of my day jobs. For some reason they suddenly don't need a Nanny anymore. Still working at the Youth Center for the time being. If anyone wants to come down this afternoon I'm popping popcorn and making macrame potholders. Then maybe later I'll file some papers and order some office supplies. Fun times.

Also Whodunnit? is over with. I knew who it was from Day One. Shame they didn't have any actual reason for it to be the killer other than the surprise factor. It would have been nice to have some fake backstory instead of apparent randomness. Now I need to find something else to occupy that nine o'clock Sunday slot in my life.
