I've decided it's about time I entered a baking contest. I'd like to see how I measure up to other people. There aren't many right now in the area, but there is this one that looks simple and fun. The grand prize is a trip here, which I obviously wouldn't need, but it also includes a trip to the Food Network studios, and that's something I'd definitely be interested in.

I was thinking about something you said the other day, Katniss, about the excess of Thanksgiving. I thought maybe we could volunteer somewhere, since the holidays here don't hold the same significance to us as it does the people in this world.

I read that when I went back to 12, you and I put together a book to honor everyone we lost. Would you want to do that here?

I wish it was still Halloween, so I could keep wearing my pumpkin head around. People keep trying to talk to me on the street.

So like, what exactly is Veterans Day? I'd Google it but I want to hear it from a person. It's for soldiers? I lost a friend in a war. And someone else I know lost their sister, she wasn't even fighting. She was a medic.

I would have fought too, but they wouldn't let me.

We've had a bit of a turnover since elections were held, but Stark Charities seems optimistic that the Potts' Tower Tenants' Board is a solid idea. However, given that we abandon our leases far more than most buildings in the city, this time they're thinking a council might work better than titled positions. So the president doesn't leave again.

Those who were elected and are still here (Inara Serra, Jamie Moriarty, and Jaina Solo), we can grandfather you in, but otherwise, we're looking to fill four more positions. So, you can announce her, or email freebird@pottstower.com

Also, if you're looking to help in more directly with refugee processing, modern era and human body counseling, or even just stuffing the swag bags everyone gets, Stark Charity is looking for a refugee lead and team.

And I'd be alright taking a step back on these announcements.
