I think I've lost track of what day it is, which is never a good sign. I also woke up at three pm and I haven't done that since I was a kid. I probably would have lay longer, but there was a voice inside my head telling me to get up that could not be silenced.

Consider this me checking in.

I still can't decide if I want to be Beyonce or marry her.

I have to admit - I love working out. Between dance on Monday then training on Tuesday Night I am running on a work out high. It's even better to find chocolate waiting for me when I get done. I've stocked up on a nice first aid kit since dance is rather rough on the toes and feet and martial arts are rough on every thing else. I'm loving it, though. Forgot how much working out makes you feel alive.

Shopping has been accomplished too - I've got new clothes, a few things to spoil myself with and a few things to spoil the only person I know here with. It's a good day and it's only morning.

Well that was a fun weekend. Running in the snow, however, is pretty beautiful. Dodging muggers also a ton of fun in the snow. Snowballs really can be a girl's best friend.

I admired your free-climbing ability during rooftop tag. I don't suppose you'd be willing to teach me to do the same? I think you'll find me a fast learner.

I fell in fully clothed and the agent that debriefed me gave me a cup of coffee, so I'm having a great trip so far.

I apparently got moved in with a neat-freak, too. I'll get back to everyone tomorrow if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but at least it beats having roommate that pees in the kitchen sink.

Oh, Olivia Dunham, since this is an introduction and all. Guess I can't throw "Agent" in front of that here - gonna work on that.

Since I'm not about to encourage anyone here to train surf, I will instead ask if people who are not likely to fall to their untimely deaths want to join in a larger scale game of rooftop tag next weekend or possibly friday. I think it'll be a good way to get to know the city better. For anyone who has never played it, it's a simple game that's more or less self explanatory. First person gets a ten minute head start, second tries to tag them and you stay off street level as much as possible. Last person standing at closing time wins.

While I think playing it as long as we usually do is probably out, I think doing it late afternoon-evening is probably better. Be smart about it with the weather. The people who haven't been tagged at the end win and there will probably be pizza and drinks afterwards.

I accept all gifts in the form of shoes, clothing, and mochas. However, I haven't actually celebrated my birthday since 2002 when me and my friends got trapped in my house with a raging lunatic of a demon (aren't they all?), so anyone even thinks about throwing confetti, just remember that I have weapons stashed in nearly every corner of my apartment and I'm not afraid to use them..

Nothing quite makes a girl feel special like finding out her entire life has been a work of fiction, and worse still, that she wasn't even the main character, or secondary, but a bloody background character. From what I gather, you all know how I feel. In fact, I feel so fucking special that I think I will celebrate with a drink. Pub? Pub.

While I'm usually used to the rain (New Gotham is notorious for its awful weather, after all), it's the cold I'm not a fan of. Sometimes I feel like I can't even leave the tower because I can't get bundled up enough.

I haven't had an opportunity to talk with all of you, so allow me to introduce myself. I'm Barbara Gordon. I'm most recently of New Gotham, apparently from a television show here called Birds of Prey. I've been here in New York since September. I'm happy to answer any questions you have.

That was a hard one to come out and admit, but I suppose it's just on the Internet, isn't it?

I thought I would distract myself look into where it is I happen to be from. I had already discovered that there were books and videos...but with a little help I looked online. I stumble on some writing that was a story. I mistook it for our legends. I have later been informed its something called fanfiction. I am beyond horrified by what I read. I think I need to find my way to the tavern.

So does anybody have advice on where to go to find a job?

I ran a bar where I came from and bar work is pretty much all I've done, unless you count being part of an insurgent organisation.
