I'm sorry, should have said this ages ago. Had quite a bit going on, no excuse though. Pavel Chekov, he was my friend. Now he's gone. I've some of his effects, tech namely, that he entrusted to me. I wanted to let you know that I'll hang on to them for safe-keeping should he ever return. He is ridiculously clever, that one. I hope to see him again one day.

I, River Song, being of sound mind and ridiculously sound body, do hereby bequeath all of my earthy possessions (of which I have VERY FEW HERE) to any of the Doctors that want them.

If any of you lot need me, I'll be crawling in my bed, dying a blessed death. And by that I mean Shhhh. River is sleeping off lots of good liquor and a great lot of fun. If I die, dispose of my body someplace beautiful and befitting a time-traveling psychopath, please and thank you.

So, a funny thing happened to me today.

( TW: blood donation ) Anyway, afterwards I wander around some, see a pair of trousers I like at a shop. Go in and try them on in the change room -- they look fine, so I take them off and bring them to the clerk to pay.

It's only then that I realise that I've left my wallet in the change room. In the pocket of my trousers. I had tried to check out in my boxers. Which makes the cashier's comment: "You're pretty desperate for these, aren't you?" make more sense than I initially realised.

Things I'm not going to be doing this summer: keeping up with what happens on my show.

It was bad enough when I had two people ask me if I was going to be, um... "getting it on" with Kira. Which was like... loads awkward. Especially when she's not even here. And Allison

Sucked through a portal and told I'm fictional? Sadly, not the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me. Hi, I'm Rose, and I have no memory of being here before.

So yesterday at work, whilst, um, working -- I couldn't help but notice that the weather outside was beautiful, we're in late spring and the beginnings of summer and it's time to get back out there into the city. I know in the winter I sort of stay indoors as much as possible, so this weekend if we haven't already, we ought to shake the dust off our sandals and get out there.

And if "Vitamin D" isn't enough of a reason to get you out into the great wide open -- how about a little competition? Like a Scavenger Hunt, perhaps?

So here it is, in all it's glory. Absolutely written yesterday while I was on break and not during business hours.

Well, I've just re-discovered Fentiman's Mandarin and Seville Orange Jigger. And it's as delicious as it was in 1957. Not that I'm about to harsh on High Fructose Corn Syrup, but my God it's nice to find something without it.

Well hello floors 16 and 17! Now I was familiar with you before. After all you exist. You'd have to or else floors 15 and 18 would be touching and that is truly the way to madness. And we can't have mad floors running about, what would the rest of the building do?

Anyway I say hello because I have taken upon the role of your new housing assistant. Should you need assistance let me know. I am very assisty. Do not hesitate to ask for such assisty-ness!
