Sans the physical, a guy could get used to this sort of treatment. Food, clothes, shelter, and cash money? The only thing missing from this perfect pic's the ocean and 80 degrees of beautiful, warm sun.

My name's Ken, just figured I'd say hey to all the boys and girls out there and clear up a few things so they don't need to be addressed later:

1.) No, I'm not related to Red Skull. I'm half Jewish for crying out loud!
2.) I do have bodily functions. Yeah, I know, you'd be surprised how many people ask about that one.
3.) Despite popular belief, my favorite color is blue, like water.

The works of men are truly to be commended!

Today I spent many hours in the bookstore, pouring over the various writings of Men. I found myself often moved to tears by the beauty of the writing, and by the love of the Second Born towards their world. There was a time I thought that all of creation would be marred by a terrible darkness, and perhaps, indeed, it has been, but out of that darkness men have found and created such beauty that I feel pride in having aided them. They certainly have added their own undertones and harmonies to the Music, and made it all the more poignant for their having lived.

And the music! In this store, they had a place where one could listen, and the amazing variety of song available in this world is...staggering. I shall never have time to listen to all of it that I wish, yet so very much of what I heard spoke to my heart.

I had great love for Men before, but now, after seeing their achievements, I raise my voice to Ilúvatar once again in praise of his creation.

Aiya vorondo alcaryatar!

Two days I have been in this place, and still it has not sent me back. What is the meaning of this? How dare that strange blue box rip me from my wife, my noble father, and my home!

Furthermore, how could it do such a thing? I am at a loss to explain it, or the craftsmanship that must be behind it. I should like to examine it, but I do not think that those who guard it so jealously would allow me to do so. It is a pity. Mere Men have not the intelligence or skill to understand the workings of such a device - they certainly have not the chance at understanding it as does the greatest craftsman of the Ñoldor! From what I have seen walking the streets of this foul and ghastly city, the crafts of men are far inferior to the work of my hands. Like the drawings of children, compared to the masters.

I also wish to know where in this place I can find access to a smithy? The oven in my room operates at pathetically low temperatures, and is absolutely useless to me.

My son, since last speaking to you, I have learned that you are indeed my child. My confusion is, of course, fully understandable, as such a thing as Time Travel has never been shown to be possible, even by Eru himself. This, too, is perhaps something the Valar selfishly hide from us in an attempt to keep us their pathetic thralls.

Nonetheless, I should like to meet with you at once. I hear there is a book that documents our story. Have you read it? I will be picking up a copy at the bookstore today.

Bla bla bla snow.

Is anyone else here "from" a cartoon? I'm just asking for kicks and giggles.

[info]silvanprince

I am not entirely certain what the young man who approached me today meant when he asked that I "do that skateboard thing" with a shield. It is something that I expect will become clear when I have taken the time to view the remainder of the films concerning the history of Middle-Earth. Simple though such an undertaking may seem, I remain hesitant. The journey to destroy the One Ring was filled with much sorrow.

Even at my age, it's more than a little unpleasant to see someone wearing a fox's fur.

Aiya, Glorfindel! Merin quetë.

Findárato tells me of a great sadness concerning the fate of Gondolin. I would hear this tale with my own ears from one of its lords.

I haven't seen this much snow since Alaska. Everyone be real careful if you go outside. I'm planning to stay right at my kitchen table with some art supplies and apple cider.

[ FILTERED: MATTY ]
Do you want to come eat brunch with me and my friends on Sunday? It's like breakfast and lunch all at once. It'll be fun.

[info]themadgirl

It's snowing! But I'm sure everyone probably noticed that on their own through their windows.

I have a question though and thought that I would ask it here since everyone comes from different kinds of backgrounds and cultures and things. In those different backgrounds do you have any kinds of people or places that are relating to water or the ocean that would be good names for a boy? I had done a little bit of research and I made a list but thought that maybe other people would have different ideas from their own experiences.

My list right now is:

Jonah - a man that was eaten by a whale or large fish and survived after a few days
Noah - a man that built a large boat before a flood
Sebastian - the crab from the movie about the mermaid
Eric - the prince in the same movie about the mermaid
Nemo - the little fish in that other movie

Monstro - whale in Pinocchio
Utnapishtim - survived great flood by building a large boat
Raleigh - explorer
Drake - explorer
Heath - explorer
Magellan - explorer
Melbourne - planet with oceans and fish
Felix - can make penguins
Perseus - Greek hero
Voronwë - means "steadfast one"

It's not a very long list right now. If you have ideas though that would be really nice!

Oh my god I don't know where I am. I'm in New York and there are people with guns and I don't know how I got here and I don't know where I am.

What should I do?
I should call the police
That's what people do when they're kidnapped, call the police
But the police here have guns and they point them at me

Can anyone see this? HELP ME, PLEASE.

[info]bitterman

I have never been one to have much interest in familiars. I had never even bothered to own an owl. I worked at Hogwarts. It was pointless owning an owl when the school had more than enough to suit my needs. As for owning any other kind of familiar, I never saw the point. Unfortunately I had forgotten that when it comes to certain types of animals, the opinion of humans matters little.

Since she refuses to leave me alone and has scratched three people at the restaurant and bitten two when they tried to shoo her away, this is Bastet. She seems to approve of the name if her purring and infernal headbutting is any indication. If you see her, do not try and pet her, catch her or stop her. You will not like the results. You have been warned so do not whine at me when she maims you.

I told Gus we needed a vacation, I just didn't expect to be kidnapped by some glowing blue thingamajig. Sometimes my visions don't always work in the way I'd like them to, I'm afraid. It's the psychic jujubees, they're fickle little demons.

Hello New York. Shawn Spencer here, you may know me as the official psychic investigator for the Santa Barbara Police Department. No? Well then, let me introduce myself: I'm thirty one (but don't look a day over thirty years and two months), and I like pineapple, cereal, and long walks in the park.

What's little rock and why do I look like one?

//filtered to Matty//
Want to go to the park tomorrow and train licker to pull a sled? That's a really good daemon-like name. Reminds me of Ratter.

If we run into any trouble, I'll get us out of it, Miss Susan doesn't know it, but I'm really good at this sort of thing, 'en I've done it before in worlds that aren't mine.

I just went out today 'en all someone did was ask me if I looked like a little rock, so I don't think it'll be that bad.

[info]maidofmorgana

I hate to be a nuisance, but I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me find some more appropriate clothing for myself and Lady Morgana? I've no idea where to even begin.

[info]behindtheline

Today, Captain Rogers and I went to the courthouse and we were married. You have permission to be happy for us.

There will be a nice party at a later date to celebrate. You will all be invited.

Possibilities
-Drugs. Lots of drugs. Toxin-induced hallucinations.
-Psychotic break.
-Closing the bridge caused a cataclysmic reaction with completely insane results.
-Craziest dream ever. (I'm not this creative. Plus, I was just in the lab.)
-I really am fictional and this is just another episode of the show. (Where is everyone else? PLEASE GOD TELL ME I DIDN'T GET A SPIN-OFF AND THIS IS GOING TO BE MY LIFE NOW.)
-Something completely beyond my understanding that Walter would be excited about.

I wouldn't normally type all of this out on a network, but talking to myself seems like a really bad precedent to set right now.

So. Uh Hello?.

Oh God, this is bad Feel free to ignore all of this. I've had about seven cups of coffee since I don't have to rob a bank to afford one here and I wasn't sure what else to do with myself.

[info]allshadesofred

This place is weird, and this is coming from a chick who used to visit a kingdom made out of candy. Ugh, seriously, it's so bizarre seeing the source you come from, and I'm pretty sure half the stuff I've seen on this tumblr is way off.

...WTF? I was supposed to get the most ass kicking-est bass in all of Ooo?

Eat corn Tesseract. Seriously, you suck.

I was kind of hoping this dimension would have a better priced slice but no matter what reality, New York never really changes all that much. Normally popping into different universes is as much fun as catching bowling balls with my teeth, but this one doesn't seem all that bad. Please don't make me regret making that comment

Hi. I'm Dr. Peter Venkman, Ghostbuster. Yeah, like the movie only I'm real and not Bill Murray.

If you've got a ghost problem, I'm your guy. I'm here to chew bubblegum and kick ecto-plasmic butt, and I'm all out of bubblegum. But if anyone sees an ugly little green spud floating around, most likely crying, I don't want to hear about it.
