The Doorway: a panfandom game

The Expo has started as we've talent and exhibits from across the globe, with demonstrations running on multiple stages.

However clearly the most interesting exhibits are today and tomorrow, as MIND presents our choices for the technologies and research for tomorrow. Our exhibits and presentations are focused on women within STEM as well has fostering an environment to get more women and minorities involved.

We've even managed to get Jane Foster, recent Nobel Laureate as our keynote speaker despite her busy schedule.

Not to mention the mice at MIND's booth are pretty cute.

To those who are mourning the loss of the Brooklyn Dodgers for a second time, you will be in my thoughts.

Hey guys, it's Carol. One of the Carols. If anyone isn't aware, I'm your housing assistant. If anyone ever needs anything, just let me know. In any case, since it's Halloween, all of the floors are having a contest about who can decorate their floors and doors the best. We have some really stiff competition, but I think we can pull this off.

I'm thinking maybe we should have a theme. Suggestions? I was thinking maybe a theme of classic horror movies. Or maybe more modern classics. Less Dracula and Wolf Man and more Freddy and Jason kind of thing. I'm definitely up for hearing other suggestions if anyone has them.

Also, maybe you guys want to have a movie marathon? Since my roommate is gone, I've got all this space. We could do it at my place.

Welcome to October. We have a holiday here called Halloween and we're having a contest against the other floors for decorations. It's all about spooky, scary, creepy, but also candy and generally it's pretty awesome.

We can totally make a better display than the other floors. So who's up for some brainstorming?
