I think we are past time for a hunt.

This is a few weeks early, but I figure I'd better get started on planning this now, rather than wait until the last second. I'm planning on hosting a Thanksgiving dinner at the bar like I have before. Everyone's welcome, of course. All I ask is that you bring a dish. I don't mind if it's an appetizer or dessert or somewhere in between, just something to share around. I can handle the turkeys and a few other main things, but the whole potluck thing worked out well last time.

The holiday season can be hard for those of us without family here, I know what that's like. So why not help each other out? You don't need to let me know anything now, but sometime between now and the 27th, let me know if you want to come and we'll figure out what you can bring.

I take a look around me at this bar sometimes and still can't believe this is even real. It took a hell of a lot of fighting, and some not exactly legal things, to get Merlotte's open in the first place back in Bon Temps, and no one believed I'd make it. A bar, way out there in the middle of nothing in northern Louisiana? I was fucking crazy. And I was right.

I'm coming up on two years at Sam's, and I still gotta pinch myself. Bars come and go in New York like people do. There one day, gone the next. And here we are, two years on. Couldn't have done any of this without Tony and Pepper, though, so thank you, for what you've done for us. Back home, my bar was home for a lot of folks. I hope it's become the same for some folks here too. That's all a guy like me can really want at the end of the day.

If anyone's in the market for a job, come on by. Or if you're just interested in trying out my two year anniversary mead, well, you'll have to wait until November. I gotta say, it's my best yet.

Some of you know we've had a few vampires come through the Tesseract, Not all of 'em are friendly and I'd guess most of the ones left are from my world. A group of us have been helping keep the rowdier ones under control, but a lot of our people have left and we need bodied. Uh, the kind who can fight vampires, I mean. Got enough dead ones, thanks

It's weird, having just the two of us. Just like when you I'm glad you're here, don't get me wrong, but I was getting used to having everyone else around.

You know, I didn't really grow up in this sort of world, but because of the curse and everything else that happened, I do have some knowledge of comic books and superheros and things, and the names I'm hearing are making my twelve-year-old self really, really jealous of me. So this is pretty great that I can google people like Captain America or the Hulk and get results that are about actual people that exist, and seem to be as awesome as I remember reading.

But you know, I'm honestly kind of disappointed that Batman isn't here.

Refugee Supernatural Task Force

We may have a little furry problem. Or someone furry might have a problem and need our help. The details aren't entirely clear since the vamps going, "Mmm dinner" at the humans kind of... took priority. But there was definitely a werewolf of some kind there. Not a regular wolf because that would be different. Does anyone know of rogue wolves coming through the tesseract or anything?

The full moon was two nights ago. So that means we can rule out most werewolves from where I'm from, any regular werewolf werewolves. They only turn on the full moon. And if it were a hybrid, that'd be a different deal altogether.

Hello everyone, I'm Caroline Forbes if you don't know me. Vampire, owner/manager of Fangtasia, member of the Refugee Supernatural Task Force, probably the first and the last being the most relevant to werewolf/shifter discussions. But you are always welcome at Fangtasia too. But my point is, I saw a werewolf tonight, and I wanted to check and see if it was any of you. I mean, when stuff starts going down with vampires, I could understand getting out of there, especially since the people were okay. And if you were protecting people, props to you.

But, assuming it isn't the easy answer of, "Hey that was me!" I was wondering if you know anything more about weres/shifters in the general population besides this tower. There are vampires, especially Buffy vampires, because those are fairly easy to turn, some broke out of SHIELD when they came through the tesseract ages ago, and boy are the violent ones hard to clamp down entirely on. Some peaceful ones come to Fangtasia. We talk.

If you don't know anything, well, hey now you know! There's someone out there, who possibly needs help and guidance. I really hope that's what it is. But something is definitely going on, and as it's about shifters I wanted to let you know.

I have the Saturday after this off all night. I want it to be off off, not even have to be called in case of emergency because it'll be handled by people I trust off. I know neither of you are Fangtasia type people. You only come for work, not leisure. But I would feel so much better having you there on the 23rd.
