So, would any of you lovely ladies have some time over the next day or two to bilk a hapless rogue of some cash?

I love this time of year, the cheerfulness of people, the winter weather where you can snuggle up in a warm blanket with a cup of hot cocoa and a nice book or movie.

Anyone going to see the tree? I mean it's a neat thing, Christmas isn't a big thing for everyone, and I imagine even less so here with how many different cultures are all converging in one place. Really it's an interesting study in adaptation, culturally speaking, right here in the tower. I imagine there are people keeping track of demographics of the fluctuating population here and really there's so much that could probably be learned from that.

But the tree is pretty. So if anyone's going let me know.

Okay, I don't even care that the movie 'Home Alone' is older than I am, this is awesome.

Oh, hey, I'm feeling much better, but should I get checked over by a doctor before I get back into my usual hardcore level of training? And would anyone like to train with me? Last time I tried I was able to do five pull ups, I'm hoping I can get to ten if I really work at it!

Does anyone else not miss the music and the dancing? Talking in rhyme can be stressful, but dancing. I could live in a musical. Or a movie, the way the right music plays at just the right time, people have their personal themes, and there are soundtracks. That sounds about right.

Now that it is December, I have decided to start working on Christmas cookies and share them with anyone who wants them. Right now I have batches of sugar, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and snickerdoodle. Room 1704. I might also bring some down to Sam's, but I haven't decided if I will yet.

Today, I am asking everyone the most difficult question to answer.

Favorite Christmas movie that you must always watch?

Anyone else see the box of elves in the lobby? I took an elf home with me. I think he'll enjoy it and be a great addition to the rest of the Christmas decorations I've put up.

Sometimes it's hard to tell what's Christmas-oriented and what's an advertisement in some parts of the city, but this time of year is hard not to enjoy. Though it sure seems pretty warm for it to really be December.
