ANNOUNCEMENT: PTYC SCIENCE FAIR
Open to all Potts Tower Residents/Refugees Under 21

The PTYC, in affiliation with Stark Charities, is putting together a competitive science fair to showcase some of the talent here during Stark Expo! If anyone is interested in signing up, the only requirement is that you're under the age of 21.

Science professors at the ESD, and those of you who volunteered to be tutors or help with school work are also welcome to help students interested in putting something together, but the majority of the work must be done by the students. If you're interested in signing up to participate or if you'd like to help out, leave a comment here! I'll also do what I can to answer any questions.

The Refugee Supernatural Task Force (and liaisons should they desire to come) are in the Stark room of Sam's Bar & Grill for an Autumn potluck.

Wesley provided lasagne trays with enough to feed everyone. Others are invited to bring desserts, bread, salads, or whatever else they are interested in bringing. The first part of the meeting is primarily for fellowship and getting to know each other better.

The second part of the meeting would be business so after everyone is done Wesley will get up and lead a bit of discussion. There has been quite a bit of turn-over, so he'll probably review the brief history of the group, how they started as a liaison to SHIELD for supernatural tasks, that was disbanded when funding fell through so they continued to work on the side as it became apparent that the Tesseract did not just bring through good guys and that sometimes some of these supernatural threats escaped into the native population and then would need to be dealt with. Currently they are working mostly extraneous to SHIELD, SWORD, and the NYPD, however they have in the past worked with those organizations at certain times and are open to doing so in the future.

He would want to have any suggestions as to how to better share information about the many variations of vampires/werewolves/etc that we have here. He would also remind them of known variations in this dimension.

He will also ask for any suggestions regarding structure of the group/patrolling schedules and if there is anything that can work better.

And finally he would open it up to Sam (if he's there) to talk a bit about liaising with the Supernatural Unit of the NYPD and what that entails.

Sometimes it's hard to believe how far the world's come since the last science fair I went to. Even in just the last few years it seems the world's jumped forward a few paces. I'm certainly looking forward to seeing what this year has to offer.

Are you going to be too busy to see a movie this week? I was thinking of checking out that one where the guy is stranded on Mars.

I have discovered that I had gained employment when I was previously here. It seems there is a small but rather lucrative market interested in having frescoes painted by the Dread Wolf himself. And people wonder why I fail to understand shemlens. Still, I enjoy painting the frescoes and the company was most understanding in regards to my absence and quite eager to have me return. I gather these particular sorts of absences are not uncommon among the refugees.

I have to say the Sealeos are admirable warriors, even if they seem to be more than happy to simply lounge about the pool now. Woe be to their enemies that get too close.

Does the tower have any more creatures that persist like the Sealeos?

Alright. Stark Expo's a little under 3 weeks away and we have time for a pitch presentation so check with your collabs if it's a multi-company project. If it's just your work, that should be fine.
