We have some of our holiday teas available now and I admit I am very excited about them. The combination of cloves and spices and cinnamon that they inevitably has just smells so delicious.

This morning's sampler is a Harvest spice - a black tea with a mixture of spices that almost smells as if you've a pumpkin pie in the oven. If you'd like to come and try it out Timeless Teas is open until 5pm today.

I saw the most beautiful pillows in a shop window yesterday. I am half of a mind to redecorate the apartment for fall. What say you?

Among the roles I have as member of the Star Wars Shakespeare cast, is that of Jabba the Hutt. Given the context of the play, I imagined him to be some seedy gangster type, and so that's how I've been playing him. Heaven knows I've met a few in my day. However, I found out that the character has a greater role in subsequent films, so I watched the film, Return of the Jedi. I must say, I would never have imagined the character looking like that.

I am not a vain man, I never have been. Other people have, of course, ascribed a lot of value to my looks, but beauty is always best left in the eye of the beholder. However, I am a curious man. For that reason, I keep track of the things, the news items, related to Dorian Gray that pop up all over the internet. It seems Merlin Holland (what a name) has adapted his grandfather's work for the stage. I image that's one way to try and make money off a dead family member's vision once the copyright expires.

I'm not so sure I want to see it. It's rare I'm not demonized beyond any recognition of who I am or was ever meant to be. I don't know why, even with all that we know how, the object that tempts is always held to greater guilt than those who fall into temptation.

But I suppose I can take some pride in the fact that story endures.

[TW: Real Crime. Link to actual documentaries]

I know this may very well shock some of you, but I am an enthusiast when it comes to crime documentaries regarding unsolved or much disputed cases. Just last night, I spend a good hour researched the position presented in this documentary about a possible Jack the Ripper suspect.

That's always been a relatively sensational case in it's own right, hasn't it? But I've always thought the solution to be one much simpler than the Royal family conspiracies that certain "fans" of the crime like to prattle on about.

Has anyone else, here, every been particularly interested in that case? Or is it strictly the sort of thing only Londoners even remember?

There are bowls of cream set by all the windows. Please do not disturb them.

I have a dispute to settle with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

So this is what proper medical care feels like; I almost forgot. Not to mention actually being able to take the time to heal. To be honest, it almost felt like I was being a little lazy.

How are you feeling?

We are headed to the hospital now.

When we return there will be a baby.

Try to not almost or actually destroy the tower/city/country/world for the next, let's say, 48 hours.

Ah yes, let's see if I've got it right: a magical blue crystal that no one quite understands has the ability to, when it pleases, pick us up from our universe - place - time - or what have you and bring us here to live harmoniously in a shiny castle in an industrious city.

How absolutely quaint, and terrifying - though not necessarily in that order.

I've been told there might be some in this tower I know! Where are you then? I hope you're friends -- and if you aren't and I've somehow wronged you, Venhedis - I'm sure it was with good reason. I'm joking, of course, and rather badly at that. Do forgive me.

And to the rest, I extend both greetings and introductions. Hello, I am Dorian of House Pavus of Qarinus in the Tevinter Imperium. Might as well just grab that bull by its -- er - Just to get that out of the way.

I hope you are all currently less confused than I.

How do we request more dogs from the tesseract? That's far more important than limiting how many mages there are. And that'd only be useful for not seeing Morrigan. Big evil MWAHAHAAHAHAHAA mages haven't been arriving that I'm aware. Or evil cackling people in general. At least there's that.

To which inhabitant do I speak for pest control?

Specifically the infestation of mages.

With being in the Star Wars Shakespeare play, I've gotten to wondering if my old energy shield could have stopped a lightsaber blade. Sadly it got destroyed back home but still. It makes me curious if the shield would stop the blade or not.
