The other day someone asked me if I got any sleep now that I had William here, and I told them, well no, but it isn't as if that's a switch for me. Netflix is just more interesting than late night infomercials and mostly less risqué than porn.

I'm so excited for tomorrow! I'm starting an actual job. Chi Chi would be so proud if she were here. A real paying job. I mean, money wasn't ever important to me, but I know she would be happy.

I'm really not too worried about my job.

I've never been a very good patient, so I'm definitely relieved to find myself out of bed, walking around, and feeling relatively normal today. It will be good to be back to work on Monday.

The bright side was that it did allow me time to do some reading this weekend. I decided to reread Shakespeare's historical plays and it reminded me that we've done talent shows before here in the Tower, but it has been a while. Would there be any interest in something like that again?

Waiting the last three weeks for a new episode of Sailor Moon Crystal seemed to drag on so slowly compared to the last time I had to wait three weeks. I'm glad I have already lived through all of that, but I wish I could tell myself that it will all be okay.

I have been here for exactly one year and one week! Poor Tony was left to fend for himself for like, two weeks before I came along because he forgets to take care of himself (but I hear that's almost a universal thing so). And I didn't have much here when I first arrived but it was like "free housing and some money" and so I went crazy with spending for Christmas that I needed to be gifted with fruits and veggies. OOPS. What can I say? I love Christmas!

And because I love Christmas and I'm done with my tree and I still feel like doing more, and I don't think anyone else has started it so I'm going to...



I know a lot of us are here without our families from back home, myself included (I miss Rhodey like crazy and it SUCKS that he gets to miss this winter holiday too but I got hopes that he'll be back soon), and I think it'll help somewhat. Knowing someone who doesn't have much family here will still be getting something nice. Who wants to join??
