I am quite glad to get back into a more normal wake/sleep cycle. I had adjusted to operating at night, as one had to do in Dracula's England, but I was never entirely comfortable. Odd considering that I had operated nocturnally for tasks in the past. Perhaps it is the difference between doing so willingly and doing so unwillingly. The human mind can be a tricky thing at times.

I talked to Max about taking two afternoons a month off to give little science demonstrations and teach fun experiments to the kids at the Youth Centre. Anne Blythe is going to talk to the other co-coordinators about it.

I heard Anne got pretty tied up in that thing that went down in the pumpkin patch though, so I hope she's all right. I hope everyone is all right, actually. It's a good thing I didn't

But anyway, I know we're both pretty booked up with work and the RVHP consultations but, if you wanted to get climbed on by a room full of tiny children twice a month, you're more than welcome to come with me.

On the note of debriefing, what trouble have you been getting into while my back's been turned?

Well, I suppose forewarned is forearmed in the unlikely event I stumble across a boggart here. Of course my greatest fear is now a combination of an unanswerable question and my greatest failure.

I think the events on the weekend have dampened my anticipation of Halloween. It's a shame really. I always enjoyed the feast at Hogwarts. I was hoping to see if I could put together something similar here.
