Many people have been making posts since the White Event, pertaining to powers and seeking help to understand them, master them, or even deal with the confusion or consequences of them. Any number of parties have replied or made outreach posts on the subject. But it's a touchy subject. I know some of your history, growing up with it, and I've seen how minority groups have frequently been mistreated in the past and even the present day. This preamble is old news for you. But I was a government employee before I came here, working in the FBI. It took me some time to determine there was anything new and even more time to establish whom I wanted to go to about it. Namely, the X Men.

Not SWORD, not the Avengers (bless them, but they have more experience fighting than training), not other law enforcement.

But I do need help. I've developed a new, what I presume is, defense mechanism, which currently operates barely at a more controlled level than my immune system. When startled, shocked, etc, I explode. Or part of me does or the air around me does. I cannot say I've entirely isolated what is exploding. Whenever it happens, I am untouched, perfectly okay, but it is damaging to the people or things around me. While I've not gone for casual strolls since I determined this and been watchful, so as not to be surprised, it's only a matter of time until it ends terribly if I do not learn to control it.

So it was Stark tech.

Looks like HYDRA found one of Howard Stark's little inadequacy compensations (a giant remote operated robot) and spruced it up for the 21st century. Iron Man managed to jam the control signals and we transmitted our own, so the bot was disarmed after only sustaining minimal Captain America damage.

The Starks have it now, and they're bringing it back to SI. So now we've got two leads. Either I figure out why the Colorado desert was doing, housing a large bot or I try to trace what I can from the frequencies Iron Man intercepted, and see if I can't figure out where the second command point is.

I've my full work up from medical. All tests are back in.

In the interest of disclosure. It's a lesion, like the other Carol thought it was. It's pressing on the part of my brain that deals with emotions or memories or something. I'm not really clear on all the science parts. But I agitate it too much and it'll burst, could wipe out my mind. It'll all heal, which is what happened last time. But I could lose everything.

Apparently they're not exactly sure how to operate on someone whose body immediately starts to heal. So we should find someone who can.

We've a bunch of people being turned into monsters around the country by a carnival that's kidnapping them to do it.

So far our agents have recovered three with different alterations to each. And they're not reverting back so far like the people who turned fuzzy a few weeks ago in New York did. And at least one person has turned up dead after this.

I want everyone in comms trying to find any hint of these guys so we can take them down.

I made the potion that replicates my future exploding power and tested it out the other day. I had no idea how explosive it was going to be. Now that I know, I kind of wish I had that power. You've been here a year, have your powers grown at all? Or is that not going to happen at all because we aren't home and the circumstances are different? I'm merely curious and wishful.

I have found the most incredible thing that I really want: a wearable bed! Luna is just shaking her head at me, but I think it's incredibly useful, especially if I'm out somewhere and need a quick little nap to continue through the day! If I were back home in Japan and there was quiet time in class, I'd have a far more comfortable napping experience with this.

Eventually you will get into the air. I got my instructor's license so I'll be able to take you up myself.

I got a superpower, because Doom's a fucking ass and had us all in a space station when it got hit by cosmic rays, so we all got shit done to us.
