14 Degrees and Sunny. (59F for those of you who don't know the metric system). Quite a gorgeous day and hoping to get outside to enjoy some of it.

I think we've recovered from that bought of singing and dancing, which made me thing of security protocols for supernatural events. Is it a breach if you were compelled by an outside force? Can you be held responsible for your actions? What sort of preventive measures do we have in place?

ETA: This is more me thinking about how Torchwood would have handled something like this. We did our best to protect the public from supernatural elements, but it usually didn't involve explaining everything to them. It seemed unique that it wasn't just refugees who were affected by this.

I guess adjusting to this place or rather adjusting to not having the people I know around is going to take a bit longer than I thought. I have truly ridiculous amount of sweets that I've bought over the last month. Shalkan has such a sweet tooth that I'd sort of gotten into the habit of getting something for him at every opportunity. I can't possibly eat all of this so does anyone want any? There's all sorts of things here.

If you think being here a while has made me jaded to the excellent plumbing and the freely-flowing drinking water, you're sorely mistaken.

And all the soft, plush toilet paper I could ask for. I could make a bed out of this stuff. And while the tradeoff to my grace drying up is being able to get drunk without consuming a liquor store and enjoying the finer things in life like pb+j sandwiches and spaghetti-os, it's not worth all this upkeeeeeeeeep. Seriously, God could have designed you to be a LITTLE more efficient when it comes to waste management.

Last year, I got to celebrate my birthday for the first time. It was strange and felt alien considering I was created, not really born, but it was nice. I liked it. I got my first motorcycle that day.

This year half of them are gone I think that was enough for me. I'm just going to go patrolling tomorrow night.
