I very definitely like mocha --
thank you, Clara, for introducing me to it. But I do think that it is something that will have to be a once-in-a-while thing, because I discovered that the combination has given me more energy than I know what to do with, and since I am stuck inside until later today, I'm afraid that I'll be bouncing around the youth center. The good news: I should get so much accomplished today. The bad news: I want to be outside, on a ramble and exploring woods and hills and trees, all of which this city has in short supply. Yes, I know that there are parks, but they're not the same.
Edited in about half an hour later:Oh! I very nearly forgot. We're going to start celebrating birthdays each month, usually it will be the first Wednesday of the month, but we're so far into May that this month we'll be celebrating May babies this Wednesday, along with board game night. If it's your birthday this month and you're 18 and under, well, Wednesday's your night.
Filter to Baking Club (Beth, Erin, Prim and Raven)Hello, ladies. Forgive me for sort of taking charge, but I'm absolutely excited about this club, and I really want to help get you off the ground and baking. I'm Anne, and Beth's asked me to be your adult supervisor -- which I'm absolutely happy to do. She's said that Sam's offered the kitchen of his bar as a place where we can work, which is wonderful as I imagine that it's got all sorts of room to work. But we also have alternatives, in case the kitchen isn't available to us: there's the kitchen on the 13th floor, and there is also space in the PTYC kitchens. And barring all of that, we can always meet in my apartment -- especially if you want to do something like bread that will need proofing or otherwise will take longer than most baked goods.
