It's been fifteen years since I've celebrated Mother's Day with my mom, but this year it hurts a little less. She was an amazing woman, taught me by her example that a woman could have a family, a career, and do it all while looking fabulous and being gracious. I just hope I can live up to her standard, you know?

I'd also be remiss if I didn't say Happy Mother's Day to my favorite Mr. Mom - you've done a hell of a job, Castle.

Well, it appears we've exhausted our options and our funds on our trip to Maine, and have returned to this -- Potts Tower. Charming place. Really. Nicely...decorated.

And am I to understand that SHIELD can help clearing up the matter of qualifications? Because there's a job at the OCME that's caught my eye.

These camera phones are quite the convenience, aren't they? When I arrived at Heathrow on Friday morning, I had quite the surprise holding the ubiquitous card with my name on it.

In any case, that photo would not have been possible if I hadn't been sharing a lovely bowl of grapes with the little chap. He shows remarkable perserverence in doing as I do, in this case catching food in his mouth as it falls from the air.
