First of all, I wanted to thank you for the extra hours and the hard work you’ve all been putting in to help clear New York and New Jersey of the vampires that were created last month. You’re saving lives. that’s all that matters.

You should all know that the X-Factor team, with the NYPD is currently trying to tie open missing persons cases with vampires invasion. If you think you can help them with the identities of vampires you’ve seen, please give them a call. They have photos of the missing individuals and they could use your help identifying them.

Secondly, I know there was a bit of scrutiny for how we, as Avengers, handled this situation; the fact this threat existed for far too long without our knowledge and manner and level of repercussions that Angel is facing right now as a consequence for his actions.

And I’d like to start by saying I’m sorry. There’s no excuses for how we’ve failed, for the lives that were lost or for how unprepared we were, and I’m not going to make them. If anyone has any further grievances or suggestions, they can bring them to me, the other Steve Rogers or either Tony Stark and we’ll do our best to list and and take your opinions into consideration.

But we’re not going to dwell on what we did wrong. I’ve spoken with Angel and I’m meeting with him personally tonight to gain all the information I can about the remaining vampires and which ones have been already taken out. If any of you would like to be present for that meeting, it’ll take place here at the Avengers Mansion, and you’re all invited. I only ask that for right now, you respect the fact that Angel is trying to help, and at the moment we could use it.

Today I learned more about Nick Fury than I ever thought possible or ever wanted. Moreoever, I don't believe most of them, even if it is nice to think that his sleep mask has a patch to match the one he wears during the day, and the other eye on that mask is actually open. To be honest, it was a little bit like having a powerless Q popping in and out of medical all day, being obnoxious and in the way and wanting to play with all of the instruments.

I thought we should talk before the meeting with Angel this evening.

I've had a rather fascinating weekend chasing down some of the many things Comstock and Fink stole from various tears to see whether they exist here and I have to say I do think we improved on the music. It's true there's not much difference between our version of God Only Knows and the original by the Beach Boys but I think I much prefer our versions of Fortunate Son, Everybody Wants to Rule the World and Tainted Love. But that's all rather subjective, isn't it?

I have to say though that I'm really not suited to idleness and I think a week is more than enough of it. For those that don't know, I am Robert Lutece and I am a physicist. I am the co-creator, so to speak, of the Lutece Field, a quantum field that allows objects, such as a city, to float in the air. I am looking for the names of corporations and/or individuals both in this country and beyond who might be interested in collaboration.

So I had a whole marathon of my show starting from the point of if my wedding is going to happen or not. I have the most amazing friends ever, they went way beyond of what I would have expected to make mine and Melanie's day special. I get about the bombings and I almost couldn't watch that part, the fact that I sleep with a man and get a divorce from Melanie and then we get back together and we move to Canada in the end of the show. I have to say, drama, but I'm glad that we got a happy ending. And watching my son grow into a beautiful boy was just remarkable to see.

Now I really miss my family and friends. But it was worth the watch.

Mondays....where you just want to curl up in your bed with a good book a cup of tea. Instead, I'm sitting in a cubicle typing out my advice column.

So I've heard now that they are making a sequel to The Incredibles. I haven't heard when or what the plot is, but I honestly don't know hat I feel about it. I've seen the film of course, and it's hard to imagine that story being made for children. I remember everything quite differently. It seemed much more dramatic in real life.

For those of you that are skilled in hand-to-hand combat, is there any one of you willing to take on a student? I saw Captain America's post, though I'm not sure which one...sorry! I know there's more than one heroes around here. It's hard to keep track. Oh anyway, unless I can find someone that can create a force field like I can, I thought it would be beneficial to improve on my other skills.
