My friend Michiru went home. Like Haruka and Setsuna did. I miss them a lot, but I know they are okay. Perhaps one day they will be back again.

I watched Mortified Nation over the weekend. It was interesting, actually. Watching people willingly share their teenage journals to an audience. Sometimes, I suppose, it's important to expose the person that we used to be; it puts into perspective who we are -- who we've become.

We haven't had much of an opportunity to speak outside of work, and that's my fault. I've been rather preoccupied with a number of tasks in and around the home that Storm and Logan have procured for us. -- But I digress.

I hope I'm using this properly. They said I should introduce myself so hello, I'm Kellen Tavadon. I'm a Knight Mage and I'm originally from Armethaliah though lately I've been living in the elven city of Sentarshadeen. Well, lately I've been with the elven army but before that I was living in Sentarshadeen. I'm sorry, I don't really know what else to say. I was brought here from the middle of a battle and I'm tired but I'm so tired I can't sleep if that makes any sense. It's been nearly a year since Jack & I got married here, and we thought we'd take the opportunity to renew our our vows and throw another party. Some of you were at the wedding last year and some of you weren't, so this will give you a chance to see Jack in all his kilted glory.

As for the details - Sunday, 27 April at 2 o'clock in the afternoon (baring an apocalypse or international incident) at the STK rooftop - 26 Little West 12th St in the Meatpacking district.


There will be plenty of drinks and food to go around. No dress code, but if you want to dress up, there will be no objections. Hopefully we'll all be recovered from prom by then.

Maidens of Potts Tower!

I have seen many such posts these past few days, so I thought I would try my own luck. One of my comrades has been having a bit of a hard time lately and could benefit from some companionship. I seek a consort for him for this Midgardian Prom, though I do not believe my friend requires a teenager.

He is a brave warrior, and a champion of Justice who would pass along good Midgardian stock to any potential progeny you might have. He has a strong jaw, and a stronger character. He is the gentlemanly sort and enjoys music and horseback riding. He is also an avid historian.

Now, who is interested?

Boston was beautiful and strong. I ran decent time, and it was first time no one came up to me to talk to me about being Chekov, being from Star Trek, or anything like that. I stuck around finish line for some time, like any other runner. It was about Boston and for Boston. My favorite marathon here.

SO! Prom night for those of who aren't going... I know X said she'd go patrolling, Julie mentioned a beach visit. Anyone want to get together and treat this night like, you know, ANY OTHER NIGHT and just hang?

The amount of parties this world has is certainly a point in its favor. Especially since there are significantly less likely to end in assassination attempts than the ones at Vigils Keep.

That and the lack of darkspawn. Really the paper they are handing out now could simply be "Welcome to New York. There are parties and no darkspawn" and I'd be sold.

I should buy a new dress though.
