All right, so this is less for the AHEM veterans we have in the group. I just threw you guys on because I like open discussion and talking at people. Anyway, there's this big kinda gravitational thing happening with teams right now. Like a pull to get everyone synced up better, so if there's some zany outbreak of evil, we'll know about it. Y'know, not that you're slinging down Park Ave and WHOA HEY LASER MONSTER VERSUS THE HULK SURPRISE. Or if we find trouble first, we can pass it along if we need help. That's part one.

Part two? Actually not a big change from the usual. Part of the idea with this whole thing was to make sure no one's left to figure stuff out the hard way alone like someone whose name we won't mention did when he was 15. Basically? Situation normal. You guys have me, Ben, and Kaine if you head out on patrols.

Agent Carr has died, 48 hours after presenting with flu-like symptoms. The circumstances of his death are highly unusual. At approximately 0930 his EKG started fluctuating, then surged. By the time I arrived he was floating, and he died not long after. I have other agents in this hospital who are suffering from similar symptoms. Recommend a lockdown of all facilities this man came in contact with.

ETA just before this: Dr. Hemming, Dr. Soya, Sarissa, and Amber Davidson will comprise a medical response team being dispatched to Potts Tower to deal with the progression of symptoms and to keep myself, Agent Sitwell, and Director Fury apprised of the situation at Potts Tower. As of right now, we have one known patient, Bonnie Bennett, there are very likely others.

As of right now, information about this illness and the time it takes to progress is classified information.

ETA after this: SHIELD Medical will be coordinating screening and care. Potts Tower Clinic liason is Alison Hendrix. Make sure she is screened immediately. Classified status is being maintained.

SHIELD has just quarantined Potts Tower, and I know most of you are residents there and are aware -- I'm giving them the okay to do the same with Stark Tower. Meaning they're coming in, meaning that right now you should stay at your stations so we can get this dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.

I know last time SHIELD showed up for afternoon tea, things didn't go so well. I get that. If you want to lock up your research, that's your prerogative, but they're trying to help right now and I want us to be as co-operative as possible.

Well. Looks like it's you, me -- and a romantic evening of being quarantined in Stark Tower.

I shall be very happy when this semester is over and I never have to look at this Calculus II book again. Of course one of my study mates then had to remind me that next semester I signed up to take Calculus III. It's one of those classes that are 'strongly recommended, but not required' which I've been told translates to "Just sign up for it and save yourself the hassle." Midterms are over as of yesterday which makes this lockdown slightly less of a hassle for me. I do hope that those who are not feeling well recover quickly and feel better soon. A good cup of tea works wonders for me. My hope is that it will do the same for you.

Are you experiencing any of the symptoms that has the tower in lockdown? I'm not. I know I just saw you this past weekend but it feels like I haven't seen you at all besides that. We should rectify that. There's a few exhibits at the American Museum of Natural History and Metropolitan Museum that look interesting. And there's a few things on Netflix and Hulu that look great for curling up on the couch and watching with you.

Stumbling upon gifs of yourself dying is kind of a weird experience.

In honor of not being able to leave the tower, I attempted to cook dinner. You would think I would have done a better job of it, considering what an awesome cook Angelo is, but nope. It kind of sucks that quarantine eliminates the option of just ordering a pizza.

I hope this thing doesn't last long, because I was going to go buy some new paints.
