How do you handle being homesick when you never truly want to go back home?

Hey, anyone seen Maya around? Siren, blue hair, blue tattoos, gorgeous, will phaselock your ass at the drop of a hat?

I have to make a decision about colleges soon. I'm lucky enough to have acceptances from a few places, but I think it really boils down to MIT vs ESU. I'm already TA-ing at ESU and if I were to go there, I'd get to continue working with Bruce & Jane, which is awesome and closer to the Tesseract, so there's lots of benefits. And MIT is well, MIT. How many spider-men/women does New York need? Maybe Boston could use some too. I don't know anyone there, but that can be a pro or a con, depending.

I can't believe that class is almost done for the summer. Luckily I will get to work in the gallery over the summer to keep myself busy. But I also plan on taking a trip somewhere for a little summer vacation. I am really loving Spring so far though.

I want to thank all of you who have been willing to assist in this way. I recognize that most of you hold other jobs of some variety and this is purely volunteer, but some basic organization and clean-up so that if we need to do something, we'll know what we're working on.

Based on the skill-sets that have been discussed I've given each of us a primary responsibility, and where appropriate a secondary responsibility. Some of you I know well, others of you I know less well and hope to get to know better, so if you feel as if this is not a good fit for you - please say so. These are also fluid as none of us will always be available in every situation and may need to jump into areas we're less comfortable as a result. That is to be expected and I appreciate anyone's willingness to do so.

In addition, we are all our own experts about our own realities, as well as having some knowledge of various other realities that we've read or studied about on our own time either here or at home.
