It's been some time, and a lot has happened the last week or two. But was anyone, you think, more attractive as a man than a woman or a woman than a man? Everyone who switched genders was the same person. It is easy to see that. But does it make a difference?

I also found a place to take dance lessons, for anyone who wishes to go to prom. I did not dance before, but if we are going this year, with or without dates, I would still like to learn how to dance. It cannot be harder than fighting. You work with your dance partner, not against them.

I am very pleased to be able to return to my laboratory and my research, though I perhaps would have preferred not to be incarcerated in the course of affairs. Still, these things do happen when one chooses to listen to the demands of c'thia and one can only deal with them as they arise. It is also not the first time I have ended up 'behind bars' as they say. I did enjoy the opportunity to make the acquaintance of Mr Dugan so I cannot consider it as time wasted.

I do apologise to the students undertaking my classes for my inopportune absence and I shall endeavour to make myself available for any of you who wish to discuss any matters that arose while I was away.

Welcome to SWORD. It's a little less impressive without the massive space station, but we have been tasked with helping prevent another alien attack on Earth. Given that we have had two in just over two years, seems like it's something that we could be doing a better job at to help keep this world safe.
