Well, I am as ready for when Julliard starts as anyone, and working as a sales clerk at Macy's isn't going to take up as much time as I would like. They only have so many hours to give. It's alright for now, I suppose, I feel like I've been working my whole life and I can take a second to breathe. The only thing is I'm not so good at relaxing.

Sometimes I just have to laugh at what the tv stations call entertainment these days. I have been burying myself in books, in my free time that's not spent working, of course. Columbia is going to be such a nice fill of time, I am looking forward to it. I've been wanting to get into college my entire life.

Open auditions for a musical. It's not on Broadway, but honestly, I'm not ready for Broadway. I don't even know if I'm ready for this. I was... I sang for the first time since.. well, in a long time, yesterday, and I still can. I mean, I'm still really nervous doing so, but it doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I suppose that's a good thing. I still want to be a star. I've just been derailed a bit.

Whoever invented taxes should be strapped to a rocket, fired into the sun, and then shot repeatedly until pasty.

Everyone remember to update their resumes and stop by the ESD's job fair tomorrow at [Location] between 10 and 4 pm. From what I've seen of the list of attending companies there should be some great opportunities for everyone.

For those folks that are new round here, Admiral Christopher Pike and I have a ranch outside the city that we keep. It's belonged to others before us, and lots of folks that have come through the Teseract (and some who have sense gone back) have enjoyed it as a place of respite from the city.

We'd like to open it up next weekend to anyone in the tower who'd like to get away. Whether it's get away from the city for a bit, just enjoy nature, if you like horseback ridin' we've got a good set of horses, and there's a lot of space to walk around. We're thinkin' of havin' folks out and perhaps havin' some food available, just keepin' it casual.

If you think it's the sort of thing that might be interestin' to you, let me know. Whether you've been out there before, or this will be your first time, you're invited.


Myself, it seems like a lot of folk have been goin' back of recent, but maybe that's just cause it's one I knew and cared about a lot. It's hard to lose friends - no matter what the reason.

I woke up this morning seeing weird color things around people. Not sure what it means, but usually eyesight or brain stuff means something wrong, so I think I might head down to the clinic either way. I hate hospitals and docto Don't really want this to get worse.

As if taxes were not reason enough to dislike the month of April, the billboards in this city are vulgar. I do see why you are inclined toward hoodies, Sarah. I've never been fond of strangers commenting on how I live my life, and I like it no more when my life is actually entertainment than when it was merely gossip, like everyone else's. That said the people who approached me lack all common sense. They specifically spoke about respecting my ability and willingness to fight back and defend myself when accosted by strangers with hostile intentions. One then apologized for what he believed the "trailer" for the next season means will happen to me. I replied that I was just as capable here, as in Toronto, of dealing with ill-mannered ruffians. One begged off immediately, but the other claimed he was a fan and offered to "protect" me should anyone threaten me. I accepted his business card as information to hand over the police should he begin stalking me.

Now, I have no intention of letting those fools ruin a sunny day. As I have before, your company is much better than that of those in this city - natives with access to this network not withstanding. I have prepared snacks and drinks enough to feed 10 - 30 individuals. Anything besides pending unsavory futures are acceptable topics of conversation.
