A FULL BEARD?

This seems to be affecting people at random rather than by previous reality or post-exposure to the Tesseract. This might even be the result of a mind/body switch where the body you inhabit now is some alternate self. Do we have any idea of how spread this is? Any non-Tesseract immigrants affected?
