Goddess, it feels so strange to be alive again

I'm really confused and kind of scared right now... can someone tell me where I am?

I am grateful that I had Haruka for my birthday, and I know we will find each other again-- we've done it across the centuries before. But I wasn't ready at all for this loss.

I can't believe how long I've been here... and there's people who have been here longer than me. That being said, I am finally ready to graduate high school. I am really proud of myself, and I'll start Julliard in the fall. I'll have a few months to work and save up for things like books. Although I did get a partial scholarship. That's better than nothing.

Jean-Paul may have somewhat beat me to the punch in asking about training in power control, but I think we may finally be able to stop beating up the Great Room in the mansion. Which means we can stop having to clean it quite so often.

I have been speaking with our consultants, and they think the Danger Room is ready for testing. Do I have a team or two, preferably of older, more experienced mutants willing to run through some scenarios this week and test the systems?

Naming a winter storm that has killed three after a planet that was destroyed by senseless violence, to me, seems to be in very poor taste.

So, how does closure go again? Bad guy gets locked up for bad things and JUSTICE!! and then everyone moves on?

I think this is the part where I say I can get closure now. At least that's what I heard but I don't feel anything at all. I can't even tell what I feel but it's not relief. Dr. Connors was my mentor for a long while, he wasn't really a bad guy, and his intentions weren't exactly evil even if it probably would have made a great storyline for a dystopian fiction series. He just... had something go wrong. I don't think he would have done all those things otherwise. I can't find it within me to hate him and rejoice that after over two years, he might finally go to Ryker's.

And I felt like I had to hide the paper from the boys before they woke up, so that's saying something about moving on. (Although they'll likely either see it on their way to school or hear about it there, so that was moot point.)

This is unrelated to above but out of complete curiosity because you're the three science people from your world that I know... how is Hank Pym? In relation to science and academics strictly? Because I'd ask the Avengers Academy kids but I've seen the way some of them talk to/about him and thaaaat might color their judgment just a little.

So the color of the universe is called "Cosmic Latte." Whatever, you Starbucks freak.

But it makes me wonder if we should start to name some of our universes. We have the one with myself, Thor and Loki, our Peter Parker. Then we have the other Loki, the other Peter Parker(s). Now we have Mr. Johnny Storm, what universe is he from?

There's so many different ones and thinking about it makes me wonder if I'm going to go the way of Dr. Selvig.

Alright. So I have the forms, a couple new pens, and the Game of Thrones books in a boxset. I am going to fill out the paperwork, go head over to SHIELD, and camp out there until they give us our shit back.

You know, it's weird. Sometimes I forget that my actual name is James because everyone uses Rhodey. I mean, even my mom called me Rhodey. Except when she was mad at me, then it was JAMES RUPERT RHODES. But it was always funnier when Tony got in trouble, because then it was ANTHONY EDWARD STARK I AM GOING TO TELL YOUR FATHER.

Anyway, board game night was actually kind of fun. I also think it would be even more fun if we could turn it into a weekly thing. Like a club, I guess. Can we do that?

So two big things happened today. I no longer have wings and I kind of miss being able to fly but there's nothing I can do about that.

The other thing is that I got a job. I found an indoor archery range and went there thinking I could get some target practice in and when I told them my name they offered me a job. So now I'm going to be teaching there. I start Monday.

Maybe this whole being recognized from TV thing isn't so bad after all

It's probably just as well my powers are gone. I was starting to like them, that's always dangerous.
