I couldn't sleep I've barely slept at all since he and I was feeling a little hungry and just sort of wished the sweet pepper plant on my table had some actual peppers already...when it suddenly grew some.

I just got battery power on my phone (aka it picked the worst timing to die yet again) and got your texts! I'm ok, just got caught in the chaos of the aftermath that was big and green since I was just leaving the set at the time. Its taking forever to hail a cab so give me another hour to get back?

Although having had much practice with the typewriters in Mr. Gardner Edwards' law firm, I regret that I was unable to properly operate my computer device to communicate with my neighbors until quite recently. My many thanks to Miss Myka Bering for her continuing lessons in its use.

I have yet to venture beyond our apartment tower or even terribly far beyond my own, rather insufficient lodgings; however, I am quite eager to revisit the parts of New York City with which I am familiar. I've spent a great deal of time thinking on not only what you said but the timeliness of how you said it. The two of you, in lock-step, seem to be quite possible of completely bowling me over. Now I shall be honest with you.

My feelings for Abbie - as ridiculous as I find this sentence - are as intimate and depthy as I am quite sure you imagine. We are one, she and I. And I was quite free to choose my friendship with her not because of any prophecy (though it was driven by it) but due to our connection.

However, ladies. I should like you to realise I am not a man who can easily set aside promises. My wife - though she is not here - lives, if the Horseman has not oh god killed her already. And Abbie deserves - Abbie should have - a companion free of such intricate failings. I hasten to add that you should press her in this direction.

So, Castle's birthday is in a couple weeks and I'm going to need a little help getting him to his party - and on some of the planning. It's not as elaborate as what I did last year but, to be fair, he's not injured and stuck at home. Though we can make it elaborate, I need the distraction.
