How about a picnic once the weather improves? I'm getting better with cooking without magic after all! Plus I did promise a look into my creature journal, I was so close to finding that moon frog nest.

Things are finally making sense now that I'm not sitting around bored silly. Plus I have to admit, hearing a giggle at the other end of the phone is a massive plus since I would rather smile than frown. Add in the technical challenges and I'm pretty happy.

Normally, I prefer digging up a copy of The Hobbit to read when I'm bored, but lately, I find myself looking up at the sky. Maybe it's because of Galactus, or, maybe I'm kind of an idiot and hoping to see my home from all the way down here. Either way, it's still got me thinking. Being here is like a blessing in disguise. My mom would say something like that. But she'd be right. Without this place I wouldn't have met May, or seen Peter again, or hang out with two Jessica Drews all the time. It's like.... Anything is possible here. Every book I go through in the library could be a new friend, a new enemy, and, it's kind of amazing to think about. Yeah, I miss my friends and my family, but, as long as I'm here, they're not forgotten. Which, reminds me of the best Star Wars quote ever:

This afternoon, at approximately 2pm Jakarta time, the team we were were observing appeared to come under attack. We moved in to investigate and then came under attack ourselves. It appears to have been an ambush. Our attackers were part of the Jakarta team as well as approximately half a dozen unknown assailants dressed in green suits. We managed to escape with the uninvolved members of the Jakarta team and are currently awaiting extraction. They reported that the head of their team seemed to suddenly snap and turn on them.

Based on the explanations they gave to me, I'd say sleeper agent. I didn't catch any insignia on the unknown attackers but Dorcas or Jessica may have.
